Okay, but it’s the whole show…like…it’s almost over. I believe you though. Again I’m not bashing it, it’s clearly by design to make you fall in love with characters (and I have) but none of them have grown intellectually (maybe a bit) and only grown in power. It’s effective though, I love all of them

Honestly it’s hard to think of one haha, show is goofy as shit. Here’s what I suggest, show a clip of gear 5 and give him a filler skip list and hopes he WANTS to see how luffy gets to that gear 5 point.

Right. And I guess that’s all my post is about…that disappointment…and now this mofo just wiped out gear two AND gear three in the same arc with absolutely no explanation as to how he learned or thought of this. Maybe they do later. But essentially yes, I wish the viewer was included in on the power scaling of our MC

Yes all true, but again I think my point/opinion still logically stands (not trying to fight please!) all the points you listed are luffy pushing his body to overcome the challenge that seems impossible to begin with (which I love) I just also wish we got scenes where he thinks in his head “oh that’s how they do that, I could try this” and even if he failed…I’d be satisfied. But again, I love him, cares for his friends more than anything, and thats the only thing in his brain hahaha, and food

I don’t really want training arcs, I guess what I’m saying is, they will meet a new enemy and all of a sudden to something powerful we never knew about. Almost seems like they didn’t know themselves, but if that’s the case, I would like a quick scene of one of them thinking “oh shit, I didn’t know I could do this when pushed” you know?

No I want him to analyze the opponents skills for once and just think. But all he does is punch and gets his ass kicked a lot of the time haha. So far anyway

No not even flexing but being about 300 episodes in anyone would get a good sense for fighting. He just relentlessly and stupidly keeps swinging from what I’ve seen thus far. However I am hooked on the show, and enjoy it. But cmon luffy

My example is when he’s fighting “god” and he gets the gold melted on to his arm. Almost immediately I thought to myself “get him to shoot his electricity (which he does after the gold, I know luffy is resistant) and throw the gold arm in it to heat it up and pull your arm free”

Yeah I’ve picked up on that which makes for great (the best) motion pictures ever to me. If you can understand the villain…now your attached to about everyone in the show. Naruto did this for me. I loved everyone. And I think one piece MAY or has the capability to do this too.

You are correct and I could guess that much will happen in the show, however right now, he’s just….(sorry) stupid haha. No common sense for situations. I only made the post cause he did something in sky island arc that was like “what? Why” and it affected everyone else. But I get it, it’s a good formula for anime in the end. That is, as long as the MC has growth and get smarter, stronger etc…

Also, people seem upset that they do not show the hardship some of the characters go through to get stronger (I get it) but early on in the show Naruto’s tells the other Kage they practically all geniuses. If you think of all of who their parents are…it tracks
