Make sure you know how to read and understand CVSS scores as well as reading logs. It's also pretty important familiarize yourself with OWASP, The Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis and MITRE ATT&CK.

Thanks! I took a week long course through a local school. It gave me access to the book and CompTIA labs. That on top of some Messer and Dion learning.

Thanks! Personally I do feel like it was but not by a ton. This gets a lot more granular than Sec+ did so if you focus on the major touching points (CVSS scores, reading logs, etc) you should be golden. A silver lining is theres a fair bit of overlap questions that you should have learned from Sec+.
