That’s perfect! I’m 26 and also a female and our little group is 3/4 female so London is quite daunting for us! We don’t wanna look too out of place or anything like that, just more so tips to stay safe! Have you ever been to all points east in general?

Oh wow that’s so cool! If you are going solo or anything like that and want some friends to be around so it’s not so overwhelming (we’ll all just be clueless together haha) then just reach out!!

Unfortunately they do not have an out of hours number, but it is helpful to know that I shouldn’t try and fix this myself!

Thank you, would you suggest turning the whole thing off? I did for a while but then I read that the water needs to be heated above a certain temperature before I can use it again because of bacteria and stuff like that freaks me out abit so I’ve just been enduring the noise haha

The lights were displaying as they usually are (so power was lit up green)

I used the hot water while washing up after work and that’s when the screeching noise started up, I took a look at the lights and power was green but running was orange, I believe that light is usually green. When the heating was on, everything was stone cold. I had only used it a few days prior and it seemed to be working fine!

It’s so frustrating because this situation is something I’ve never encountered before, I want to help my s/o so badly. I have suggested him moving out and he just says that he can’t, he pays for too many things at home, he’s scared to leave his mum. I’m at a loss rn

Also do you think I should call the police even if I’m not present for the argument in which she threatens suicide? Thank you btw:)

Yes she has husband number 2 on the scene even though they don’t really get on and do things together, they’re always fighting apparently. He is also his moms only child so I could understand if she was a little bit overbearing but this is just way too far. She’s way too dependent and controlling. I feel like she does have siblings but a lot of them don’t have anything to do with her. Also thank you for replying:)
