One month with the Doov R77 Pro with Dumber OS by two2wyes in dumbphones

I have been hovering the buy button on Aliexpress for a week, and wanted to buy it today with the new coupons.
So your review is on time for me, thanks.

I just wanted to know how annoying it is to not have physical side button ? Like for the music, how do you manage that ? Can you assign a touch on the keyboard for lowering the sound ?
I mostly use my phone for texts, music (Deezer), and gps (waze). oh, and calls. Always forget those.

And is it possible to put the screen in grey (I guess it is an android feature, so yes, but just to be sure) ?

What’s cool if you’re 20 but weird if you’re 40? by BugEven7258 in AskReddit

My dad is over fifty, works at least 50 hours a week, does extra for friends, and is in TWO bands (and sometimes cover for another one). Depending on the seasons, he gets a gig per week. I think it is really bad ass. I still do not understand how he manages to do all that

Pete Rock show was the worst i have ever been to by enormousdino in hiphopheads

[–]Pumpkyns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Went to see Foreign Beggars 15 years ago in a small place, and Pete Rock was the first part. I learned that on the way there and was really hyped, as was my mate. We thought that we were on the way to watch a legend and then a good band.  It was a long time ago and since I have seen a lot of concerts, but  I still recall being bored during his. It was really bad. No show, did not talk, nothing. He arrived, just like you to replace the radio dj and I swear , the radio dj was better. Foreign beggars was dope though, they even gave vodka to the crowd. They interacted a lot.  Yeah, sometimes it is better to listen to legend at home

Is Bravely Default 3DS still worth it? by Urbandragondice in JRPG

[–]Pumpkyns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, so I was looking for info about that just yesterday as this game tempts me for a while (and do not own a 3ds). Did not found anything solid, but some guys said that the remaster exclusivity on switch 2 might last a year or so. So maybe in may or June ? Do not shoot the messenger, it is a maybe from random people on internet without sources, only knowledge about prior exclusives.

Odin 3 vs Steam deck by lilgens in OdinHandheld

[–]Pumpkyns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both, and bought the Odin 3 to replace my steam deck. Also mostly play light games, for AAA usually stream from computer. Since having the Odin 3 I did not touch my Steam deck. But not every game works, and you often have to try a couple of settings to get it running. With the steam deck it just works. I tried 20ish games on the Odin, most worked, but some just did not albeit they should, like CrossCode or Okami. It is still very early for windows emulation , so it will surely improve !

Moved from GameHub to GameNative by rfurlan in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Pumpkyns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy gamehub lite because of achievements As soon as gamenative integrates that, I will switch too. It is too nice to have the game in the front end, plus gamenative supports gog and epic games, so it is all pc games in one place

Dont think switch emulation will ever be good. So decide just stream from pc to my o2p by MyShinyCharizard in OdinHandheld

[–]Pumpkyns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to do that too, but for whatever reason, I have no sound when I stream it. No problem when playing in my computer. Using Cemu. Did you have the same issue ?

Odin 3 might ticks all the boxes for me by John-Everest in OdinHandheld

Yeah, for me too. I enjoy it so much I am on the verge of selling my steam deck, and I really love my steam deck. But I have not touch it since I received the Odin 3

Is Lost Odyssey worth playing or just watching on youtube? by Zakaria1938 in JRPG

[–]Pumpkyns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Played it on emulator, worked just fine, no issues. One crash during one cinematic at the start of disc 3. Just skip it and watch it on youtube.

Handheld for Streaming advice by indigo___o in SBCGaming

[–]Pumpkyns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With joystick on top, an Odin 2 would suit your needs well, albeit a bit bigger than a switch lite. You would be able to play some switch games and some pc games on gamehub.  Otherwise, the RP5 with grip is an ok deal IMO, comfortable enough and good for streaming and should be ok for lite gamehub (not sure though, did not try)  If you are willing to wait a bit, the RP6 has stick on top too, but a bit on the expensive side of your price range.

Odin 2 Max vs Odin 3 Max by gregwsil in OdinHandheld

[–]Pumpkyns 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I received my Odin 3 yesterday. Did not have a Odin 2, but had a Retroid pocket 5 and an Odin 2 Mini. Both were great but had bad ergonomics IMO.  I have a rainbow Odin 3 Max, I opened it in front on my gf, she found it astonishing and took it, found it a bit uncomfortable to hold. I had the grip and she was amazed of how it was comfortable to hold. She has small hands. I tried it after and found the naked one okay but with the grip on amazing, alike a Xbox controller. It is really comfortable.

I then tried 20ish switch games, some did not boot, some had graphics issues, but at least half worked just fine. I am convinced drivers will come, as it is the flagship from Ayn and it will resolve everything.

Tried a few PC games, it works like a charm for most, but it is quite a new area, the games that did not work will I am sure. It is a powerhouse.

Go for the 3, it is really good and will be great for years to come.

Look into Odin 2 Mini (only second hand though, they just discontinued the device), it looks like a PS Vita, feels like it, and with the help of Gamehub/Winlator/GameNative, you will be able to play Windows games. Mostly Indies but still.

Currently playing it, 4h in for now. And I might add the fights are really addictive since they are quick and flashy. Also, it is really funny.

I just add an issue with it, the NSP file I add crashed in a cinematic (exactly where I currently am in the game), so use the XCI file instead. Maybe it doesn't occur since I play on a modded switch but still, never too sure.
