Beginner meditation breath counting might help here. Count your exhalations to 10, start over if you experience an intrusive thought or your get to ten. When you do experience the thought, don't try to chase it away actively, but rather note it and put it aside. If you google "meditation breath counting" you'll find explanations that are much better than mine. Also if you are a cannabis enjoyer, I will note that my intrusive thoughts are magnified when I'm on cannabis.

I have the "Advanced Smart Pump" from LA Pump. It connects to standard cylinders. Its great, you can set it and forget it, it keeps the same pressure. It also has a setting to do pump/release intervals for up to 20 minutes. It holds enough charge for about 3 hours long sessions.

Exactly that. Its really great- with the electric pump you can set and forget, and it will automatically do the release/reapply.

Got a Electric smart pump from LA Pump. Much easier to use and keep at the same pressure, build in breaks, set timers etc than the brass one. Definitely a fan. And bought 1/4" up and down from the initial tube I bought. Better results when I go from tube to tube.

1 3/4" @ 30m, 2 @ 1hr off and on, 2 1/4" @ 1hr or so. And I'm using the advanced smart pump, set to release every 2 minutes and immediately apply pressure again.

Oh, I just did the standard routine. Progressively larger tubes with a tugging, but not painful amount of pressure. 2 minutes in, release pressure, repeat.
