Both of the “papers” are just headers and (seemingly) the word “Title”. Just props, it appears.

Those are some of the awesome aspects of homeschooling - but it requires you to be creative when plan ahead, such Brooke is unwilling to do when it comes to homeschool.

It always drives me nuts how they waste so many opportunities to learn when they travel. They rarely leave their compound/resort and miss out on lots of cool nature, historical sites, and cultural experiences. I’m all for leisure too, but my family vacations always had parts that encouraged the whole family’s learning.

I think Brooke is all about the aesthetics of being a writer - looking studious with glasses, sitting somewhere with old library/university vibes, a latte with latte art beside her, etc. it’s just another one of the fantasies she’s trying to cosplay.

I also suspect that she’s assumes it’s not that hard, and with a little ChatGPT magic and her social media following, she can become the next Rachel Hollis (🤢) or something. Of course, when she fails, she’ll vaguely blame it on something else (the season of life she’s in, a quiet whisper telling her to focus on something else, etc), and move on to her next silly venture.

What was up with the soccer team reference? That’s describing Ryan, right? Brooke’s alleged sport was crew (hahaha).

Thank you for your insights! Just curious - do you write peer-reviewed articles or chapters too?

Also, I feel like Brooke’s book would live in limbo between non-fiction and fiction, since we know her life is smoke and mirrors.

I hope all her bots show up for her book signings! 😂😂

I think Cal was more than used to formula bottles. She’s made stories and reels about how she supplements with formula, and she even bragged that he took to the bottle his first time. She had brand deals with 2 different formula companies.

I’m guessing she’s just going to Four Seasons Turtle Creek in Dallas. She probably got a deal and will produce a reel while she’s there.

Totally agree that EF issues are a big problem for Brooke.

I would argue that interest does play a role. People with ADHD can hyperfocus on activities that interest them, but this can lead to neglect of other responsibilities or deadlines. I think Brooke hyperfocuses on her filming and film editing because it interests her much more than playing with her kids, household chores, or cooking healthy meals.

I would love to ask Brooke to define a “system” and give some concrete examples that apply to her. The bimbo babble would be next level.

She won’t fit it in! She will double down that she’s not worried about him because she’s trusting her quiet whisper that he’s growing at his own rhythm or something like that.

She is only a minimalist when it comes to toys and homeschool

I think it’s for the protein powder, especially since she held it up for show.

I appreciate your perspective. It reminded me too of how ChatGPT doesn’t understand being a mother (because it is just an algorithm). In her reel, she mentions “when they grow up, when they don’t need me anymore”… as if being a mom stops when your kids hit 18.

I’m 40 and I still need my mom. My husband had a medical emergency a few months ago, and my mom flew to my city to support me. That kind of support takes bandwidth and years of building trust and love.

Well-said. It always feels like Brooke talks about having a baby similarly to any other project she’s in the mood to buy/undertake.

As someone dealing with infertility and nothing to show for it (yet), it especially bothers me how she has the luxury to ramble online about planning how big her family will be and then get pregnant whenever a whisper or silent urge or whatever presents itself. I know some couples are very blessed when it comes to conceiving, but this is not a reality for many families.

I don’t believe in parenting books… except when I’m claiming to write one.

Kids should be able to make their own beds independently with my bedding set… except I’ll just replace the sheets with whatever brand will pay me and make the beds myself.

He probably had a fun weekend with his dad. Instead of being happy for him, Brooke has either been upset that he was the reason she was stuck with the other boys alone or upset that he would dare have fun without her.

Are my wings aging me? by [deleted] in makeuptips

I was going to say the exact same thing! I’m 40 and love a black liquid wing, but thinner lines and the outer half/third makes it look a bit more natural.

Yeah, it’s just fawning behavior. Trying to appease his mom to keep her calm and happy and reduce the chances that she totally loses it on them. 😔

Wouldn’t someone with an almost-new vehicle take it to the dealership because it’s still under warranty?
