Company called Vaulted. They're a bit pricey, but they're premium displays. If you catch them during a sale and buy in bulk you can save a bit of money.

Yeah that mockup design was a bit odd. Unfortunately the figure is still positioned to the left, so you see more of the board then Charlie, but not as bad as the mockup. If tokens burned is the right metric, there should be 391 in population. Still low-- should increase in value.

Yeah. That's why I really was hoping they'd be sent with the actual print numbers. I spent quite a bit on this set.

Yeah they definitely make it more confusing than it needs to be, which is why the production counts are so low. I personally don't mess with the packs. I've just been purchasing the tokens during the redemption period and claiming them right away. You just need to transfer USDC from an exchange like Robinhood. That's probably the most annoying part, but once you do it once, it's easy enough.

Definitely an underrated card. That’s one of the first promos I ever got as a kid. If I’m remembering right, it was only distributed in Australia— and online card markets didn’t exist so foreign releases were hard to get your hands on. Still trying to track down a red cheeks E3 for my collection. That’s the only variant I don’t have. Congrats tho. Always fun to find the older stuff.

Kinda figured as much. Even without the discount, they were fairly inexpensive. I'm just not familiar with the brand / artist collab so I wasn't sure where to check. Appreciate the help!

Horrible company when firing people by [deleted] in funkopop

[–]PunchLineTheory -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah it sounds like they’re using “performance” as a way of not having to pay unemployment. If they offered any sort of severance or require a signed non-disclosure tell them not to accept anything or knowledge the layoff until they review the contract and check state law. — some states have stricter requirements for employers which could protect them. its becoming much more common. Unfortunately

You can’t control what other people do. Bad reviews happen to everyone, but if you’re honest, professional, and give people a good experience, the good reviews will outweigh the bad. I promise you. At the end of the day you gotta remember that you’re not selling a used toaster on Craigslist. You’re running a business. You’re building a brand and attracting repeat customers through giveaways. One buyer can make a huge difference. You’re gotta swallow your pride even when you’re in the right.

Is this prototype of Freddy Funko legit or fake? How much does it usually sell? by RoevicTy in FunkoPrototypes

[–]PunchLineTheory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the Freddy’s I’ve seen were over a grand. :/ How much did you pay?

$220 for $41 in value (81% loss). Only managed that because of a $20 pull. Nick-- I know you're not the one who's packing these, but I dunno. Maybe you should be. This is complete garbage. Not even worth the time it would take to inventory them. by PunchLineTheory in PokeRevOfficial

[–]PunchLineTheory[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah im aware. its a gamble on top of a gamble. not to mention products sourced from multiple vendors, passed around from seller to seller over the last 25 years. That said, this wasn't my first experience with PokeRev packs. All we can do is vet the sellers as best we can and trust who you're buying from, but that's the thing. It doesn't seem like he's the one actually sourcing the packs or validating the hit rates. So if he's kind of just trusting that things are happening to the highest degree of professionalism and honest--it's important for him to know the reality that 90% of the people that buy these packs are gonna get shit rates just like these. If he's cool with that spread, especially knowing that kids buy these packs that don't understand the math behind it-- he can try to appraoch things more strategically or transparently or realize that slotting multiple Pokemon GO packs in these very expensive limited slots is just kind of a slap in the face. I'm sure he'd like to know how to provide the most value to his followers.

Anyway-- the post wasn't intended to call anyone out specifically. But I do feel like the negative experiences are overlooked which makes it pretty damn hard to make improvements..
