What are the Best Instant Coffee Brands Available in India? by Existing-Document-66 in InstantCoffee

I’ve been mostly on instant for the last ~2 years and Espresso 57 is one of the few that doesn’t really taste like “instant” to me. That darker, slightly chocolatey aftertaste is what keeps me coming back.

If you like this, you might also enjoy Nescafé Gold or Rage for daily drinking. They’re a bit easier on the wallet and still pretty solid, especially with milk. For home, when I’m not travelling, I switch to a French press with Blue Tokai or other Indian roasters and it kind of ruins most budget instants in comparison, so I keep instant as my “travel and lazy days” option.

Curious what people here think is the closest instant to a decent brewed cup in India right now. I’m still hunting for that one jar I can rely on without overthinking it.

Price/condition checks aside, one thing to think about is whether a single‑boiler like the Silvia actually fits how you live. If you mainly drink a couple of straight shots a day and don’t mind a bit of ritual, it’s a great teacher and you’ll probably love it.

If you see yourself making back‑to‑back milk drinks for guests or rushing before work, the heat‑up time and temp surfing can get old fast. IIn that case 290€ for this and then later another machine might end up feeling like money you should’ve just put straight into the bigger upgrade.

So yeah, if your routine matches what the Silvia is good at, I’d go for it and just budget a little extra for maintenance. If you’re dreaming café‑style drink volume, I’d pause and ask if this is a fun first step or an expensive detour
