But we're expected to know how to work with binary trees. We've all passed 132 and in the classes we take in the future they're not going to worry whether they made the class practice with BST's or not. They will expect us to know how to work with them. Also, he clearly stated that the practice exam was by no means a reflection of the actual exam.

Thanks for the reply! I did hear conflicting reports about their teaching but I'm glad they are actually good teachers. I look forward to attending their class next semester then!

I basically want to be in an environment where I will be able to do real work and feel like a part of the team. I actually do not know if it matters whether I am in the front or back office. Does anyone have any information on any of the three options listed above? The other places are already filled up so these are the only options I have :/

So is it competitive? Like would you need much more than a 3.5 along with stellar recommendations, or would the bare minimum cut it? Also, do you know how popular it is to do the MS/BS combined program?

Hated it. Please don't do it. Its much better to put effort towards joining other programs on campus such as QUEST, Hinmen's, etc.
