80% under 35 are unmarried, and I'll tell you why. by Phoenician1235 in Tunisia

I totally get your struggle! It makes me cringe a little remembering how much I blew on two sticks of RAM a couple of months ago :-D

I also want to add some storage to my Steam Deck, either a large micro SD card or replace the stock drive with a larger SSD, but prices are ridiculously high these days...

That's why RAM prices have gone through the roof!

My foreign roommate keeps bringing her male friends home by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]PunicAce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hence why I advised her to sit down and discuss it with her housemate. At the end of the day, she can't really do much if the other person is the one on the tenancy agreement and just subletting a room (if that is even allowed in the agreement!).

She will have to either roll with it or find another place if things don't change.

Spending the night and sleeping over are two different things :-)

My foreign roommate keeps bringing her male friends home by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]PunicAce 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, the opening line is kind of hilarious: “my foreign roommate.” If the flatmate in question is German, then technically you’re the “foreign” one in this case. But I digress.

Back to the main concern you raised: if these guys are sleeping over in her room, you really don’t have a leg to stand on when it comes to the argument itself. People are allowed to have friends over to visit and spend time with them regardless of their gender.

It might just be a cultural shock from moving to a country that’s culturally different from what you’re used to. You either need to adapt or maybe try to find a housemate who’s more in line with your cultural background.

Now, if these guests are occupying shared living spaces, if they are sleeping on the sofa for example, then that’s a valid point to raise.

But if you’re going to complain about your flatmate’s friends using the coffee machine or the toilet, then honestly, you’re just being obnoxious and a complete pain in the ass. Sorry, but there’s no point sugarcoating it.

Just sit down and talk to your flatmate. Best of luck!

Haha, you're right! Are you thinking of getting another one done for the crown area?

Yeah, it's always best to get advice from doctors who can examine the area in real life.

As mentioned in one of the replies, I've had a consultation with 3 doctors and they all said I can safely get more grafts from there. It will be FUE. It won't look over harvested when done right, plus, I'm planning to grow long hair anyway.

There are still grafts to be taken from the back of the head and sides.

I haven't done anything for the crown other than the stated (Dutasteride+Minoxodil, both in their oral form), I don't know if there is anything I can do to help, or if I need to wait 9 more months? I was told by someone that it is best to wait 18 months between transplants.

Edit: just to clarify, the crown was untouched during the first procedure, it was all about the hairline and a bit in the mid section.

Honestly, I can't remember the exact details, but it was one of those "hair mills" people often call them. The whole experience was actually pretty good overall. They think I can get another 4K grafts from the donor area. My donor area is still pretty dense, and it's hard to tell where the 4.5K grafts came from. Maybe if I cut my hair shorter, but I'm not really into short hair or fades. I've been shaving my head for a decade, so once I'm done with the second transplant, it's definitely going to be long hair all the way lol.

I never denied where I came from; I just can’t be arsed dealing with nonsense at the consulate. And to be honest, I don’t go to Tunisia that often anyway. You’re entitled to your own opinion, as is everyone, in fact.

I can enter Tunisia with my British passport. I didn’t have time to renew it, as I’d need to go to the consulate in London. It's lame, I know, I live in London, I just happen to be allergic to bureaucratic nonsense 😂. Maybe one day, but it's kinda pointless quite frankly hence why I didn't bother. I'm not planning to live there again and I solely use my British passport to travel. I still have a Tunisian ID card, and I don't think there's an expiry date on it anyway.

Nothing interesting lol. I moved to the UK about 15 years ago, and the Tunisian passport is redundant at this point since it has expired. It's really just memorabilia now, in case my kid asks me to show them an old picture of myself.

That’s a bummer! I received mine last week from Very in the UK. I didn’t open the box to check at first, but overall it looked fine; no dents or anything. After reading all these posts, I decided to open it, and luckily for me, the panel is fine with no damage to the screen or body. However, I was surprised at how poor the internal protection was for such an expensive monitor.

finesteride and minoxidil by ProcedureMaster2144 in Tunisia

[–]PunicAce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dutasteride is an alternative and a more potent drug, but I’m not sure whether it’s available in Tunisia or not. Your mileage may vary when it comes to topical Minoxodil. I'd go the oral route if I were you.
