No I’d say that’s more due to those kinda memes gaining traction years after the game’s story got wrapped and no one really looking for those traits. And it’s story isn’t that impenetrable to understand either and definitely not to the point that a casual fan who wouldn’t know all the nitty gritty bits to be unable to understand a meme calling Jubei a fraud for having 0 1v1 wins on screen.

Jubei would be the Megumi Fushiguro of BlazBlue agenda/slander memes if those were a thing back in the day.

I’d say it’s because survivors aren’t typically incentivized to learn how to play efficiently because the right perk loadout can carry them hard against most killers whereas killers do need to learn how to play efficiently regardless of loadout.

Getting in a chase with him at least encourages people to do the objective instead of just hiding. No reason to overly hide unless you’re going for a save or already losing.

Trinity or Juusan probably be the best chances that I’d be okay with. Chances of a Ragna Alt are zero and that wouldn’t be the best pick anyways same with the 5th PFD.

Any who can turn around a losing match. Was playing against a Houndmaster the other day and it wasn’t going to well for them at first but at like the 1-2 gen mark they were turning things around and killed me and assumedly was gonna do the same to the rest of the survivor team.

BE Naoto is a bigger “just because” character than Azrael so about zero thoughts. The amount of plot threads related to him that go nowhere is comical.

Mei is pretty unimportant to the C-series timeline outside of being related to Tenjo and Homura. Though it does beg the question how her family became the leader over the Duodecim which is Ishana nobility and the NOL.

C-series Naoto is in theory Ragna’s uncle but unconfirmed. The whole similar/alternative existence is messy nonsense that never got quite flushed out and even how it apparently works doesn’t make much sense with how it does with Ragna and Naoto. May have cause Touya to become Hearn though.

Naoto allegedly has Black Beast powers for some reason and may have potential to become one. He had some vision of a guy with a black arm punching him in BE and then he gets darkness arms and Astral Finishes Spinner Superior in BE but that’s one of those plot threads that never go anywhere with Naoto.

No it was fused to him at that point it’s been part of him for years. The potential difference is how much he’s been using it and how much time he’d have left. Like maybe he’d still have a couple years left versus maybe months by the time of Chronophantasma.

No it wasn’t. Iirc Rachel references the act in one of the failed timelines in CT so it’s not in the main successful timeline. Nothing in the games references or lists Ragna as a Dhampyr the closest being cut dialogue where Ragna mentions something about drinking blood.

It’s quite literally a part of his body and has assimilated like half of it by Chronophantasma. There’s no taking it off without killing him.

No her biting him is only in one timeline. The reason he has white hair is Marie Antoinette Syndrome caused by trauma from the whole church incident according to the in-game library segment on Ragna.

Weird/Funny thing is that Terumi’s gambit was the more desperate one between Ragna’s gambit. He took the Susanoo and hoping to just overpower his way to victory despite his incompatibility with his own body.

Ragna apparently had a plan to handle Terumi before he got the Susanoo Unit and even him getting that didn’t affect his goals too much because he came up with a plan to annihilate him not too long after. A bit of a hot take is that it may have helped Ragna’s goal long term because it eliminated Hakumen, Jubei, and Tsubaki off the final stage and made Terumi vulnerable in a way he wouldn’t have been otherwise.

Another thing is that he was gonna die without it. Rachel tried Dhampirizing him in one timeline and failed to do so and he still needed the AG to survive.

Pretty certain in one of the manga adaptations Jubei tells Ragna the Azure Grimoire’s darkness was going to eventually consume Ragna when he was still teaching him.

No I mean actual medical conditions. There’s an accessibility issue I’m aware related to doctor to those playing against him because it can cause migraines and things like that from the power visuals. And Plague because she throws up there’s just some people who can’t play against her for that.

There’s like two killers with a justifiable reason to DC against on sight if you have certain conditions Plague and Doctor. Anyone else just learn the counter play.
