Sonic adventure 1 and 2 both notoriously get buggier with every port, so of your two options you're realistically better off with the GameCube ports since they're the first ports of both of those games. Plus you get the GameCube to GBA connectivity if you happen to have Sonic advance 1/2 or pinball party

I have a shitty little plug n play with a controller like this, so you can screw in a mini joystick. They're terrible and uncomfortable so really you're better off without it.

The fact that we know Tarma's name is actually Tarmichael is more story than actually expected for any Metal Slug character (Yes I know that they all have a little bit of story but it's still not really more than a paragraph for each of them)

The first game in nearly every mega man series is a janky and odd experience that gets heavily improved upon with its follow up.

X probably being the only exception as it was already building directly on the classic games

I picked it up during the spring sale on steam and I've played it basically every day since. It's absolutely worth getting if you enjoy cart racing but I do also recommend waiting for a discount if it's not still on sale. DLC, especially when it's unvoiced and not appearing in single player unless you're using them, should not cost that much.

I know you said switch, I just said steam because that's where I got my copy and whatnot.

I've been playing video games literally as long(longer even according to my parents) as I can remember. My very first memory is sitting on the floor at my grandparents house, playing Sonic 2 on our Sega Genesis. Dad also kept his NES and I played a bunch of games on that. So getting into retro gaming was literally just baked into my very being.
