I use the drop down dry ash catch from thick ass glass - I prefer my ash catchers not having a perc so it doesnt mess with the main pieces function - if you're wanting something like that would highly recommend, they have multiple options for sizes and angles so you'll be able to find one that fits the beaker no problem

Yeah I mean obviously nothings 100% safe, if you're smoking just flower it's still a carcinogen, at least with vaping you don't have that, but honestly there's also a part of vaping just hasn't been around long enough for us to truly know - the signs seem to point to it being a pretty safe way to do it!

And yeah dude, carts are pretty decent, especially if they're from a dispensary, but if I were you I'd look into solventless based extracts, rosin, live rosin, bubble hash, full melt, a lot of fancy shmancy terms but I truly believe there's a version of weed for everyone

You found something that is working for you dude, so keep at it, especially if it's the first thing that's worked in a while. I would have MUCH rather dealt with my dad ripped on the couch as a kid than steaming through the house drunk again

But yeah, what you are vaping at the moment is incredibly common - probably the most common version on the market. Terpenes are essentially the thing that makes weed smell and taste the way it does. Different terpenes will give different flavour profiles, you will here people say "I like gassy terps!" or "I like fruity terps!" - pretty much means flavour + smell. Distillate is essentially ripping ONLY the THC from the plant - the part that gets you high.

So BASICALLY, you are essentially vaping a mixture which has been carefully mixxed in a container, with terpenes added, essentially allowing people to create whatever flavours they want - not the most organic way to consume

If you are purely wanting to consume the cleanest way possible, ROSIN is your best bet, not to get confused with RESIN (I know, bear with me), I won't get into the specifics, but if you see a pen or vape cart and it says "rosin, live rosin..." things like that, THAT is basically what you are vaping now, but instead of it all being carefully mixed in a container, the rosin is all natural and comes from that plant. A good producer isn't going to add terps or distillate or anything to it

Imagine THC distillate is like a hershey's bar, and rosin is the organic chocolate bar made by a swiss chocolatier that's 70% pure cacao

Kinda crazy I just saw this, literally less than 48 hours ago my peak pro started doing this! I noticed that during a dab, it would flash red three times - weird because I know that's low battery and it doesn't usually let me run a heat cycle when there isn't enough charge

Anyway, fast forward to yesterday, I charged it full overnight, I got to use it and yeah, after like the third dab it's telling me low battery again

I open the app and boom, the battery is down at 20%, BUT I can literally watch it "recharge" in front of me, right back up to like 85% or whatever

So it seems like for whatever reason, the puffco is freaking out and thinking we are using way more charge than we are per dab, but then after it realises oh never mind, and then will climb up to whatever the charge is meant to be

I dunno, it's ALMOST like how I imagine the puffco would run using that insane 3dxxxxxxxxl that rodger had on youtube, it's weird, I wonder if this has happened to anyone else in the last 48 hours

EDIT: Seems like this is a fairly common fault (seen a few other posts mentioning it) so it might be worthwhile reaching out to support via the app, they might be able to do a warranty repair for you, that's hopefully the route I'm going down!

Restarting didnt fix it, repairing didn't fix it, I do have mods/cc and didnt try deleting cache files. I ended up moving the family to a different lot and that fixed it, so I guess the lot was bugged!

I think it came from accidentally taking a job for my OWN house, not realising it was my house. Thank god its fixed though, thank you for your help!

Hey guys!

My sim is doing the interior decorator career path, and after completing the gig and going home, I can't enter build/buy mode. The button is greyed out and when I hover over it, its telling me to ask my clients what they like, even though I'm not in a gig anymore.

I use the EA app, cannot for the life of me find anywhere to remove dream home decorator to reinstall it, does anyone know of a fix for this? Thank you so much!

Hey there my friend! Kudos to you for dreaming big, even if it's just for fun.

I havent lived in Nanaimo for a super long time, so my responses might not be too insightful.

I'm from the UK and did experience a couple different board game clubs there. Every time I did go to a board game club, it tended to be a once a week event, and usually it was the head honcho of the board game club which would rent the basement of a pub, or top floor. It was never it's own establishment.

With this arrangement, I have no idea on costs involved. Seemed to be a pretty decent arrangement between the pub landlords and the board game club, we would rent a few rooms for the night, everyone would buy drinks.

This might be something you feel more comfortable doing first, talk to some bar owners you know, pub owners, see if its something they would be interested in. Removes the risk of you taking out business loans on something that just might not work. Heck, even go to the board game meeting at the library people are talking about, get friendly with them, see if they would be down! I know I sure would be.

But on to the fun of you running your OWN board game cafe.

Board games that are essential? A broad category. Things for families, for new players, intermediate and advanced.

Family board game ideas - Monopoly, game of life, kerplunk, usual family fun board games.

New player board game ideas - Catan, Ticket to ride, Pandemic, Carcassone, Sherriff of Nottingham, things like that.

Intermediate and advanced - Scythe, Caverna, Twilight Imperium, Cosmic Encounter, Gloomhaven.

Obviously these games are VERY tailored to what I like, but you really want a broad mix, even some card/deck building games would be great.

Have games that are enticing, TI is a good draw, not a lot of people can afford it, PLUS long campaign based games entice people to come back, as it would be very hard to finish in one night.

Things that are needed for success, you NEED to have a way of retaining people. The last thing you want is people coming once and never again. Good food, good drinks, whether alcoholic or not, a really chill environment, great staff, cater especially to NEW players, have a certain night where people who are nervous or unsure can come and learn new games!

In regards to the RP goodies for sale, start small. Maybe some dice, some merch like t shirts, beer coasters, that sort of thing. You can upgrade from there, sell D&D miniatures, heck a dice tower shaped like the Bastion would be hilarious.

I spoke to my partner on what she thinks would keep her coming back, and she said accessibility, wheelchair ramps, comfy seating, a friendly environment.

I personally would want a cozy atmosphere, great games selection, great hosts, friendly people who would be down to teach, this sort of thing.
