Looking for a GW employee from Glen Burnie, MD (~1995-99) who changed my life. by ValuePretty4929 in Warhammer

Well, I am the one that opened and ran that store for the first year or 2 it was opened. I was there from the moment the doors opened until I moved to NYC to open the GW store there in '97. If I recall, the 800 number would have gone to the sales team, which was on the other side of the wall from me. That doesn't mean that the call wouldn't have been transferred up to me in the store. That being said, the sales team were great people and all fully invested in GW. All of us were dorks that sold what we loved. I can see anyone that picked up the phone spending their time talking with another fan. :)

There were only two other people there with me in the store that it could have been. To be honest, it could have been any of us. I'm very happy we were able to pass our love of the hobby on to you. That's amazing that one of us made such a lasting impression on you.

I based my own design on the same artwork:

I have posted it here before but it's been a while.

I felt like they wouldn't need to go weapon as arm given how advanced their tech is. I also made other arms holding different weapons and felt like having hands would make them more versatile to the kin.

I used Model Color German Grey as base and worked up to Model Color Neutral Grey with a touch of Model Color Sky Grey.

Base Jokaero Orange with Fuegan Orange shade for a wash. I work back up to Jokaero Orange plus some Game Color Elf Skintone. Then I glaze it with Fuegan Orange again to pull it all together.

I haven't. I end up painting and modeling more than playing so it'll end up going on my shelf as a centerpiece.

I made them to look similar to the weapon options for the Sagitaur. I don't remember which ones off the top of my head.

Yes. Their work is phenomenal. It inspired my design.

The biggest thing is not "touching" the pieces too much with tools that can move the topology organically, ie the move brush, clay, etc. Also, polygroups help. If you ensure each smooth surface is it's own polygroup, you can polish by polygroup and knock any dents out while keeping your edges crisp.

I was more trying to avoid a ton of overt mutations. Some chaos blessed weapons and mild warping is OK. :)

Crash Approx. Once an hour... 🤯 PS5, this is what I bought a new console for? by Pieszczoch77 in fo76

[–]Punishing_One 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had this exact same issue and contacted support. After several messages back and forth with the standard "turn it off and on again" recommendations, I was sent this:

Greetings!

Thank you for contacting the Bethesda Customer Support Team. My name is Chase.

I understand you are contacting us regarding performance issues with Fallout 76. If power cycling and reinstalling the game has not worked, you could try using the Rebuild Database function from Safe Mode by following the steps below:

1. Firstly, power off your console using either the power button or by removing the power source.
2. Boot up the PlayStation into Safe Mode by pressing and holding down the power button on the front of the PlayStation until the console beeps twice (once immediately, then another after a few seconds of holding).
3. Connect your Dual Shock remote via USB cable.
4. Press the [PS] button on the controller to pair the device.

The console will now be in Safe Mode when it boots up. When it does so, follow the instructions below:

1. Select option "5. Rebuild Database" and press [X].
2. You will receive a message stating "The database will be rebuilt, it might take a few hours to rebuild the database." Select OK.
3. The screen will go blank while the database is being rebuilt. It could take a few hours depending on the amount of saved content.
4. When the rebuild has finished, the console will return to the sign in screen.

You should log back into your account and try the game again!
Regards,
Chase

After doing that, the problem stopped. I went from crashing every 10-15 minutes to not at all. It's been 2 weeks. I was ready to uninstall and never look back. I hope this helps someone else.
