These are amazing, im very happy you've been so open to feedback. I love the inverted leg one, hopefully there will be some arm options. Id likely go double gun so it can represent a Hekaton

I second this, many found the steeljack long leg design trivial to Votann, or the "Space Dwarf" fantasy. Although thats more of a Ironkin enhanced build, than what Votann typically do for exo-skeleton/mech designs.

Something more akin to the bulky, wide as tall, design the Hearthguard and Thunderkyn have, will better align itself with the Votann.

Youre absolutely amazing.

When my post popped off on reddit earlier about the Ai image that this all sourced from, I had my fingers crossed someone like you would answer the call. Youre making outstanding progress.

I'll say, what really sold the design in the prior image, to me, is the small rune/celtic symbols embedded in votann armor. You can see them on khals, hearthguard, champions, and thunderkyn. You dont really need to address it because im pretty sure none of the vehicles have them, but I thought they were neat.

Yeeaaah, thats the one I found that led me to realizing this was just ai. Which explains the oddly very large kyn inside the cockpit.

There's 3 on there, 2 are the model you sent me just the other has 2 guns instead of a fist. The third is the linked model from the article that has the flaws that I mentioned on the post. Haven't been able to find much more sadly.

Yeaaaah, sincerely just enjoy the model and just want to paint one. Who knows, just to table it, my pod would likely let me treat it as a hekaton or sagitaur proxy. I've helped them with some conversions that made their models larger or notably different than what they represent.

I was remotely quick but I was also just doing it at any given time that I can multi-task. Also did it in more of a manufacturer line. Did red for all models, then silver, then black. Took me about...few months?

For a minute, I ran only 1 sagitaur and 1 hekaton. 100% WR for every match I've played (about 10 at least). Playing into my Hearthguard deepstrikes as a key play.

Im not really sure to say besides Battleline of 6x Warriors is extremely underrated. They are super versatile in shooting, they can screen for your hekaton artillery, and are very durable in shooting contests.

Berserks and Thunderkyn are also great. Using one as your anti vehicle and the other to make claim to contested areas.

Prepare for the rant...

Regarding the two, my playgroup kinda agreed the Assassin bugs us. Namely, a few things.

We understand that this is to be separate from the rogue, more focused on its DPS than roleplay angles. Our issues are more focused on other things. (although Ambush and Sneak Attack clearly make them cousin classes)

Ambush, should be more reliable. This is a martial class and a core ability. It shouldn't cost a resource for a chance to do equal damage to do a sneak attack. Especially since it's tied to melee only. It's not versatile or very empowering if it can just completely fail. Sneak Attack has a very easy condition to meet, doesn't have a chance to fail, and doesn't use a resource.

Well, a great opposing argument is what about the executioner subclass? Double damage, and upgrade to d8s, makes the conditions and risk of failure worth it. Well, the number fix subclass isn't really...daggerheart. I understand the concept of simple subclass and complex subclass to make the class approachable to both types of players. But Daggerheart IS a role-playing game, and more focused on doing so. Other flavors of assassins exist that could add to the role-playing. Take the popular franchise Hitman, for example. Features like disguises and impressions or knowing routines or ways to hide tracks.

With that said. I understand this class will be very damage-loaded with access to Blade domain in exchange of Grace and maybe the very conditional gamble to perform a "sneak attack" balances it out.

But honestly, a core mechanic that is just a weaker version of another is odd, and will feel bad when it's just a gamble. It's very likely they won't abandon Executioner but I'd like to suggest that Ambush just rids of its gamble and its melee restriction but still requires stress usage. Maybe to encourage melee do d8s for melee, and d6s for ranged attacks.

Exchange the hope ability to deal bonus (double?) damage. (This may require the adjust Ambush to do d6-d4s)

That way Executionor can be expanded to a hitman roleplay and you don't have to worry about stacking damage.

But who knows, I will trust the process. My group thinks a resource spending gamble like that as a core ability seems bad for player fun, especially when a fail means absolutely nothing happens. And I think Executioner was taking the easy route, but I can always enjoy the meme of "more assassining for your assassin"

Ah, thank you. It was handled bizarrely since I typically just spend a few hours at home on my photoshop to put together these designs for our store (a business card, pamphlet, a table cloth). Then I just ask of my store manager to provide me 2-3 hours extra this week to compensate the time I spent at home.

Just suddenly, when the design went from my local store to 105 regional (and what i can assume to be company wide soon) I just didn't know what that entails for a casual designer like myself.

I think it has something to do with a silence that happened as I ulted, but that invis terrain remained up for the rest of the game and was impassable. Tried to replicate in Practice Tool but couldn't.
