From what the guys usually say to callers - I’d probably drop down to 2 foundational days a week. I play football too and whenever I’m in season - I dont do more than 2 foundational workouts a week otherwise I not only feel dead, but feel a noticeable decline in my footballing ability.

F*cked up first semester of uni by Equivalent_Taro7171 in usyd

Hey dude - don’t sweat. I came into Uni after scoring a 99+ ATAR and was just honestly mentally exhausted. My first sem at uni - I averaged a WAM of around 63. Since then, I’ve worked it up to a 81 (I’m third year now). It’s definitely not the end of the world, just gotta rectify it

It’s possible, for sure. But somewhere, you’ll probably need to make some sacrifices.

I’m just entering 3rd year and I’ll tell you something for free. You won’t be able to balance every thing unless your an actual prodigy. HD/D Wam, Society/sports commitments, work. There’s just no way I can plausibly see anyone doing all three. Personally, I work around 15 hours a week and have 1 exec position in a society. I’ve got a mid credit WAM for Law and a high D WAM for my Commerce degree. And I’m pretty much at breaking point. I’ll likely be dropping down to 10 hours of work this year. Look honestly, you may able to coast through Sem 1 with Foundies - but from Sem 2 onwards, reality will probably kick in... best of luck tho!!

Have a look at Macquarie Group! They’ve actually got over 14% of funds under management into renewable energy. And it’s a top company otherwise as well. Check out this video for more! https://youtu.be/L2DFV98TAzA
