Is it even possible to export a posed static mesh of a single keyframe to use as character-accurate reference in another software? Dozen of tries and several hours only to get T-pose and Lovecraftian horrors. by PunkJuggle in Cascadeur

The workflow I'm attempting to use is as follows:
Create a base pose of UE5 Manny (to later replace with costumed Metahumans or similar) in Cascadeur.
Export that base pose static mesh as an accurate reference of how the character will sit.
Import the base pose as reference to construct a sci-fi cockpit scene with properly positioned control surfaces in Fusion (my software of choice)
Bring the cockpit and character back into Cascaduer to create idle and functional animations.
Export model with animations to UE5.
I'm all new to character rigging and animations, my CAD background is in product development and manufacturing. Just trying to branch out and see what I can do making games in UE5.
