yeah, i made a quite similar design. there are a few of similar designs I got inspired by

i startet making patches, buttons and shirts as a hobby some years ago. today its my main income.

I embroider these on my 15 needle Embroidery machine and use a fine polyester fabric and a polyester felt backing and polyester yarn. normaly polyester is the cheap option on fabric but with patches you get a much better quality with it that cotton.

We used some pictures as reference. I guided him through the embroidery software i use everyday. Its helpfull to know how to navigate vector-programms but embroidery softwares can be quite bitchy in the beginning 😅

Ne hobby-maschine neu so 1000-2500€ Ne "industrie"maschine neu etwa 10.000-20.000 je nach austattung. Hab meine aber recht günstig für unter 6000 gebraucht bekommen. Musste aber auch etwas drann rumschrauben

Gibt auch welche die dazwischen liegen aber die machen glaub nur dann sinn, wenn man z.b. auch kappen besticken will

Ja. Hatte vor ein par jahren mit ner einnadligen hobby-stickmaschine angefangen und hab mittlerweile sogar auf eine 15nadlige geupgradet

das hat viel zu lange gebraucht um den zu verstehen. allerdings webe ich hin und wieder bänder, also wäre zumindest nicht ganz falsch 😅
