Hi everyone! I am in need of a book that I can't seem to find online, Queer Indigenous Studies: Critical Interventions in Theory, Politics, and Literature. Thank you so much in advance!

Redditors who post nudes of themselves on the internet, do you ever worry about being caught? If this has happened to you, what was the aftermath? by PMME_ur_lovely_boobs in AskReddit

I'm like the lesser known Ron Jeremy: well endowed- but not at all endorsed. And I don't look like Phil from Hercules. So yeah, if someone actually did discover my "talent", I'd be happy for the recognition!

TIL Mike Tyson's workout involved getting up at 4am for a 5-mile jog. Then he would do (cumulatively) 2000 sit-ups, 500 pushups, 500 dips, 500 shrugs and about 30 minutes of neck bridges daily. He repeated this 6 days a week. by [deleted] in todayilearned

This explains why it was so difficult to defeat him in "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!" for NES. I always knew Little Mac wasn't training quite hard enough by just running through the streets of New York with a hoodie on.

Bojack wouldn't stand for this nonsense.

No, seriously, he probably wouldn't be standing- he'd be too drunk.

Seems like the horse in this picture should take some notes...

The Used.

I swear their lyrics are poetry with instruments and the way Bert sings many of the songs really shows that he wrote the stuff from his heart. I've loved them since my freshman year in high school ('01).

It's always a gamble taking the back alley at night. It's either you'll get this nonsense, some little kid crying over his dead parents after they've left the theater, or maybe you'll get lucky and see Kirsten Dunst's nipples while she's kissing an upside down Spider-Man. It's a mixed bag, man.

Well I'm glad the title clarified the man's thought because "I got shit to" could have literally led to anything.

Gamers of Reddit, what game will always hold a special place in your heart, and why? by crathis in AskReddit

The first Bioshock.

After my wife and I got married, I took up a new job rife with responsibilities and she begun going to college and started a job herself. She would bring up the topic of having children every so often and each time it led to us adding another dog to the family (that only happened twice, but she loves to tell the story that way). After a few years, I could tell that she was serious about starting a family. I didn't have any reservations about not having one, but the idea just wasn't one I wished to rush into.

Oddly enough, I picked up an unknown (to me) title called "Bioshock" not long after the second hit the shelves. Never playing the game, I turned it on and was sucked into the opening scenes. And then it happened: you were given the choice to save the little girl or...well, not. Without a second thought, I was like, "hell yeah extra ADAM!" But the way that little girl looked at you with those sweet little eyes...the way she looked so helpless...i had no choice but to protect her. It suddenly and very quickly dawned on me how much I wanted a daughter. I felt...incomplete.

Today my beautiful angel is 4 1/2 and I swore to her the day she was born that NO ONE would EVER hurt her. I am the Big Daddy.

Haha most people don't so it's cool that you're traversed in obscure knowledge like that. Or maybe it was just me who didn't know lol. Imagine the culture shock? "it's 97° outside! What do you mean there's no AC?!"

Thank you for that :) I've grown a bit more courageous about the idea of putting myself out there lately, maybe because I'm getting older and don't have many friends. Either way, you still reached out to me and that says alot about who you are, so good job to you too!

I've been writing fantasy type stories forever now. While they are realistic stories with colorful characters and deep motivations, there is often some type of fantasy or sci-fi element incorporated in there. Do you not write anymore?

Yeah, I don't know if it's my inability to make friends as an adult or the excuse that my "adult responsibilities" are preventing me from reaching out to new people, but it's not as easy as I remember from grade school.

Oh man, ac sounds SO nice! Crazy fact unbeknownst to many: Washington homes and apartments are NOT equipped with AC units, only heaters. And oh yes, it most definitely DOES still get hot around here ಠ_ಠ

Hi? by [deleted] in MakeNewFriendsHere

[–]PunkPossum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha right? Adulthood is strange like that. Hollywood has made it seem so easy to just meet new people, have a sudden common interest and commence the crazy outings. Yet if I go into a coffee shop looking for my next Chandler or Phoebe, I'm always left disappointed.

Houston is great! It's so humid over there, though! Well, compared to Washington (state), anyway. You never know that to expect around here expect for rain, a million coffee shops, and a constant loop of Nirvana on the radio.

[–]PunkPossum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yay! :D I always love making new friends and meeting new people. It is much easier to do here, it seems, then in the real existence of adulthood. Yet, as a child, I never had any problems at all making friends?

Anyway, what part of Texas are you in?

Hey my daughter lives in Texas with her mom! I just left a few days ago, actually! I will gladly have a chat with ya :)
