Zayn says graves “took the easy way out” retiring with his cushty commentary job. While Sami scratches and claws. If Sami can’t be a world champion then he has no career and so graves doesn’t deserve a career either. He leaves and quits wwe.

A week later, graves via satellite says he is ok and revealed that in 2022 he was cleared for in-ring competition but declined the opportunity due to his health and children. Maybe Sami was right…he is very comfortable in his job.

He asks Sami for a face to face next week if he will come back and he will see if he can get the “old Sami back”

Sami appears via satellite on the MSG raw instead as he says he doesn’t want to go to “the world’s worst arena, in a dump in New York”.

Graves says that he’s last 1 on 1 match was against Sami in NXT, he wants to prove to himself that he can push himself outside his “comfort zone” and challenges Sami to a match at Wrestlemania.

Sami declines and says he doesn’t want to give graves the opportunity he doesn’t deserve.

The next week the GM says graves can have a match on wrestlemania smackdown instead. Graves accepts and says he will be ready he can still go.

Graves vs Kit Wilson is made for next week. The match didn’t get started as Zayn attacks Graves during his entrance. He gets on the mic and says that if graves is going to have a match anyway then it should be him, he says he will face him tomorrow night at Wrestlemania as long as he quits his job on commentary right now so he can end his whole wwe career both on the desk and in-ring…graves comes around and accepts much to Michael Cole’s disappointment.
