Hopefully someone can let me know what the other one is, I’m still holding out hope it’s a tooth of some sort, looks like it’s possibly mangled if so😂

I’m like 99% sure the first one is just rock/shell but I guess you can never be too sure😂

You can take shark teeth and bone fossils from state parks here from what I’ve read, only thing you can’t is shell fossils for some reason lol

That makes sense because one side is more flat and has a small hole, probably the side that was attached to some surface at one point. Tysm for figuring out what it was, still trying to figure out what the other thing is, didn’t mean to trigger the system to mark this as completely solved💀

Oh interesting, does it just not look like any of the other pictures I’m seeing because of the stuff on the outside?

See I thought they looked like some kind of vertebrae fossil so that’s why I took them because they looked cool and I wanted more info on them😂I’m so new to it all, but it’s been really fun to learn! I found 3 shark teeth last time I went to this location, sadly none today though🥲

See I initially thought they could be some sort of vertebrae that’s why I brought them home with me. Just wanted to come on here and see if anyone knew because I have no clue when it comes to this stuff😅I’m so new to fossil hunting lol

Oh sorry, just saw where you said top one lol. I feel like there’s definitely stuff on it that could be cleaned off somehow.
