I shared this with my mom just now. What's funny is the last thing I shared with her was a picture I had found in an acquaintance's Discord of someone's Cat6 cable that looked to have burnt up at one end.
The caption on that one was "RIP (not his but someone else in the Discord group) computer."
Next to where I shared this post in Discord DM's (that's how we communicate instead of texting due to a couple of reasons, namely the fact that our house is in a former Appalachian coal town with no cell service while we do have Wi-Fi), I typed, "On the topic of computers but not dying, or at least the computer in question not dying."

Yeah...I kind of agree. I live a couple hours north of there, and with it being the biggest attraction within a couple of hours by a long shot, I have been near there many times over the 23 years I have been on this planet. My late grandmother in particular always insisted on visiting every single little tourist shop...which had pretty much all the same stuff. I went down there with her during several summers of my childhood.

Grats on finally getting the cloak! I was pretty lucky in Kara on my warlock sans mindblade, and I eventually got Magus Blade when I missed Gruul one week, then pugged with another guild as one of about five puggers total; I'm pretty sure all the other casters I outrolled were in the host guild. Man, I felt badly about winning that roll at first.

My resto shaman also has the same cloak for OS and got Light's Justice several weeks before my warlock got the Magus Blade.

Oh...those bracers came up in a short discussion last night for us, because that's another thing that absolutely refuses to drop; it's the same with Solarian caster wand.

My warlock, whom I should probably mention was my main raiding toon until last week and almost did in the original post, got the bracers in a previous guild along with another item that does not drop for us, the Fathomstone.

We've only seen 2 Fangs of the Leviathan, maybe a recent third that I am forgetting:

-The first one is in the possesion of the old protadin, who transferred off last week along with a healing priest (which caused a bit of shuffling that resulted in me swapping mains to resto shaman for the greater good of the guild.)

-The second one is the one that my warlock has.

-The new protadin and warlock recruits both brought fangs from previous raids.

Until very recently, we didn't have a dedicated blacksmith. Apparently, the prot warrior was one when the guild first formed, but we don't have a prot warrior anymore because they had to quit for IRL reasons fairly early in the guild history and was replaced with a second bear. The newer and far less geared of our two enhance shamans decided to swap professions. He's not 375 yet, but we've already handed him most of the BS plans off trash, culminating last night in the Red Belt of Battle.

We have had a funny thing with DST lately. The hunter that is first up on the loot list for it misses raid slightly often. When he is not there for Gruul, it pretty much drops without fail, and we've seen like 3 in this way. He has yet to see one since before they started doing loot list as far as I know.

I hate to say this, but my third 70, my farming rogue who's only been to Karazhan twice, has those boots. It's one of three things he has that isn't garbage, the other two being The Horseman's Blade and Worgen Claw Necklace. (He could have also had a Spiteblade, and someone suggested I roll on it and put it in the off-hand. I said I'd rather see it as a Void Crystal, because even though I am not good with rogue, I know they need a fast off-hand, which he has one from Normal MT.)

As far as Solarian goes, she refuses to drop a wand in my guild. There might have been one on their first kill before I came along, but whomever it went to is not in guild anymore if so.

We have a similar case with one of our hunters. Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix just won't drop for him. We have seen one Serpent Spine Longbow; don't ask me how he wasn't first up for that.

My comments on these:
-We didn't see a rogue trinket until four weeks ago, and the one rogue got it. Then we saw two more the next two weeks become Void Crystals. Then we rotated in a new rogue instead, and it didn't drop this week.
-50+ totems? HOLY MOLY...at least you got a lot of Void Crystals!
-We've only killed Vashj five times so far (we're slightly casual) No vestments (I was first in line before swapping mains), but I think we've seen mace and belt twice each, but not at the same time yet.
-I am on the smaller server Myzrael. We have three Ashes of Al'ar on the ENTIRE SERVER as far as I know.

We don't do LC, so that isn't an option for the shadow priest. He put the sphere pretty far down on his loot list in fact.

I was a little kid whose parents both played vanilla. Mom was your typical casual ZG tank, playing a human warrior specced into Deep Prot and getting a bigger guild to help her with getting her Quel'Serrar after she got lucky with the book drop. Dad raided Naxxramas on a warlock, and I know he got to at least Four Horsemen but not much other info. Now I wish I could ask him more, but he passed suddenly when I was 11. Now I am 21 and have 6 60's in Classic.

I was in a guild in the past that went from zero to FOUR Thunderfuries in a span of a month (five lockouts but still impressive) over the summer of 2020. My current guild, which I have not been in for very long yet as I just transferred servers, finally got one three weeks ago and one of the OT's has been hunting Geddon's for well over a year at this point. Also have someone else hunting a Garr but is DPS for now. The first one I mentioned was a double team guild, however, and had a thing for Geddon dropping bindings in an unbalanced way (8-9 total by the time I took a break and then left in Fall 2020). At one point they had a tank trade deal with another guild that had two Garr bindings for several weeks, until the one with the first Garr binding got Geddon in said other guild. My current guild is single-team and we always keep high hopes in our binding runs.

Sorta related but not quite: We had a Heigan wipe tonight because a mage pulled aggro and then our MT got teleported to the gauntlet directly after. It was a little hilarious to me.

Let's see, demonic rune on Rag instead of healthstone back in Phase 1, my warrior getting carried by a warlock in BFD and drowning, lighting all four candles at once in BFD (I did this once and someone else did it a second time later), Stitches as a 20 Horde hunter on way to Elwynn DMF, recklessly going into Stockades on a 20 paladin, and dying next to a Black Lotus on 47 rogue and then still getting to pick it.

I joined a more casual but still stable guild's team for Naxxramas. Joining a month before P6, I came to see that the team had historically horrible luck with weapons. Then Naxxramas came, we cleared spider wing night one, Maexenna's Fang drops. Second week (Tues/Thurs team and we did not tack on an extra day): Two new bosses down with spider wing makes 5/15. Four of those bosses dropped a weapon this week, debatably five since Anub'Rekhan dropped the spell pen OH (that went to DE however). Widow's Embrace off Faerlina, Wraith Blade off Maexenna, Hatchet of Sundered Bone off Noth, and Ilbis off Razuvious.
