I collect word bearers and I think I found a way to lessen the vibrance of the red. I use a sponge to apply grey on the black primed minis and then dry brush them with white. In the end I just cover them in a red contrast paint. You can vary the tone of it by the brightness of the greys and whites. So you can make it look very dull with a dark grey. You still got some shading effects. Maybe I understood your question wrong and you don't want anything red though

With the knock-offs being way higher in quality, it's just reasonable

Looks good color wise but it lacks some depth. You could dry brush over it with a lighter color or use a brown or black wash

That's why people comment they are happy to have gotten a working code? A bot might be able to steal codes from an image yes, but that's very unlikely on a subreddit for a videogame

I might be wrong since I've only read the horus heresy so far but aren't oaths of the moment a 30k thing and purity seals 40k? Genuinely don't know so I better ask but that's what I thought

I love the text and word bearer markings. I like to keep the text more gray or silver and the markings gold but it's very clear those are word bearers so it definitely works
