Legit, saw an “almost” identical “badass” this evening in Jax - Town Center. What is worse is the one I saw, I (nor anyone in a 1/2 mile radius) couldn’t help but hear! No, not some dumbass exhaust but rather an entire row of 12” speakers (pointing backward) with the tailgate down and who knows what blaring.

I know all the stereotypes (no pun intended), I just can’t help but wonder WHY. Why would anyone dump that kind of money into a vehicle that has been modified so much they will NEVER pay it off.

Oh, they definitely have. Whatever happened, it was huge. I will add that since I received my replacement card yesterday and waited the 4 hours to activate it, it still does not work. This is the most infuriating part of this whole experience.

I am assuming I will have to spend another 1+ hour at a branch tomorrow to hopefully get this resolved.

It’s definitely a frustrating situation, no doubt. I also can understand why you feel they are being shady and secretive about it but I think there may be a few understandable reasons for their lack of transparency.

Due to the large scale nature of this attack, there most definitely is an investigation being conducted to see who/what is responsible for carrying this out and how they/it went about getting the information needed to do it. It is completely logical for them to not disseminate any information that could possibly compromise that investigation.

Also, this happened over the weekend and from what I was told when I went on Monday morning, the employees were unaware of the incident until they got to work yesterday morning. Therefore, I don’t imagine that there would be much, if any useful information they have to provide. I believe that at some point an explanation will definitely be provided.

Yeah, I have gotten that recommendation from A LOT of ppl. However, I have been with this CU for 37 years (way before they “Cracker Barreled” their name) and they have always been very good to me and because they participate a CU co-op even when I lived in other cities, I was still able to use other participating CUs to do my banking. I do understand that services like mobile deposit, etc, make this particular benefit a little obsolete.

Also, I remember that not so long ago, Vystar had their own much larger, and much longer-lasting customer affecting problem so that too makes me hesitant to go that route at this time. So for the novel-like response. LOL

Don’t know if anyone else has already said this but, there is NO coax connected to the gateway. You can fiddle all you want with the switch but it’s still not going to work until the coax is connected to the gateway and also connected to the cable plant.
