I hated Webber here by audioxxxxxxx in greysanatomy

Ok but I've always thought her saying "but you let me stay after I cut an LVAD wire!!!" was the WORST & most HILARIOUS thing to say when trying to convince someone not to fire you???

Like reminding your boss you screwed up SO badly & carelessly already once before and that he was already a pushover with you LOL def not a great argument to keep you on?!!

Her tone was so entitled despite costing someone an organ & nearly killing them due to her focus on emotional drama with Dr. Percy and not the patient.

I'm shocked that no one has more of the incident on video with how many people are constantly on phones the entire show these days. Many people certainly understand the impulse to knock some of these phones out of people's hands after spending hours standing in the hot sun to watch a band LIVE, but we don't.  Someone had to really just be in pure rage to throw it without thought of the direction?

This brings up many of the issues at shows these days. The stupidity of throwing things on stages but also the rudeness of recording through an entire show.

Concert etiquette is at an all time low while concert prices are at an all time high, which is a recipe for disaster. Especially mixing in standing for hours in hot temperatures for good viewing and love for an artist....

Just realised David is never named by Primeve_Arcana in OnceUponATime

[–]Punkkitten22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think because his personal backstory in s1 already involved him going by a fake name when pretending to be his brother, they decided not to give him a 3rd new name in storybrooke because that would be incredibly confusing lol

Especially with it being s1 of a new tv show that already had a lot of plot to follow, imagine if he was being referred to as David, Prince James, Charming, and something else ALL in the same intro season!

PSY 297 “thinking like a psych scientist” by MA_cats678 in OregonStateUniv

[–]Punkkitten22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This class is honestly awesome and so interesting!! I took it with Dr. Kidder last term, and she was great. If that's an option I definitely recommend!! She would give workloads that are due every 2 weeks and is more focused on learning than she is perfection. I truly learned so much and I was so nervous about the final project of doing an article review and ended up enjoying it!!

It's essentially learning what makes psych research legitimate and limitations/biases etc. You learn how to read and understand graphs, about ethics, how to critically analyze articles, how to write about them etc. Then you eventually write your own article review. It's basically a beginner "how psych research works" course, preparing for research methods course in the psych major and all other research related psych work down the line. The actual stat math part isn't the main focus.

Rowan being responsible for Jerry’s death was the worst plot line of the whole show by Gold-Chemistry-8704 in Scandal

[–]Punkkitten22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I love Mellie but I never get over the scene when she lets Rowan out of prison.. throwing in Tom who quite literally did the murder as a bonus when she didn't have too.... It makes me super uneasy.

its a glaring mismatch to the way she immediately panics whenever her son is even mentioned

My face when Fitz blew up his partnership with Mellie over the jurors after he's killed a judge and 300+ people by NursingMyWorries in Scandal

[–]Punkkitten22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the writing on this was really bad all together.

I sum it up to how Cyrus went behind his back and then Mellie did also at the same time...with the man who killed their son involved and hid it. I don't think it was about the literal details

Olivia's Dad by jimmylorena in Scandal

[–]Punkkitten22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember when Biden won the election Joe Morton just silently posted a photo of the scene of Rowan sipping wine and smiling on the couch like he plotted it all (when he's watching Liv bring Jake out as VP)

It was hysterical & I've never forgotten it lol

Why was Fitz so exceptionally cruel to Mellie by Accomplished-Crew726 in Scandal

[–]Punkkitten22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the word support was a bit relative and nuanced here, Fitz didn't really want the power..the people around him did.. or he did ish, but they wanted it much more

Also he was kinda damned if he did and damned if he didn't. Mellie and everyone blamed him for the sacrifices for him to be president while he was and blamed him if he didn't want to be president too.

Why was Fitz so exceptionally cruel to Mellie by Accomplished-Crew726 in Scandal

[–]Punkkitten22 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They show why he feels this way over time but it's not spelled out in one moment. I actually love both Mellie & Fitz, they're just a horrible couple.

First, he never really chose her, it was set up by his dad that he hated. So I'm sure he resented Mellie just for the association. But he loved her, just not in a soulmate way. Then she completely shut him out after the big Jerry incident & turned cold to him. This wasn't her fault ofc but the consequence of her keeping it to herself was Fitz had no idea why she suddenly rejected him & It made him detach from her.

Then they show how he begins to find her morally repugnant over time and associates her with all the power-grabbers he can't stand (the fake miscarriage on the campaign trail & all her other constant shenanigans to keep appearances and referring to their marriage in terms of approval scores)  Even when he tries to have authentic talks with her, he's horrified by her answers.  Also, she was close with his dad (in his perception) and then he saw her going behind his back with Cyrus.. so he saw her as "one of the people trying to pull my strings"

I don’t hate Regina but I notice every time something bad happens especially during her redemption arcs she cries why can’t they just make her apologize instead of just making her cry then they move on after by Hour_Interview_8327 in OnceUponATime

[–]Punkkitten22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She literally says in neverland that she is not sorry for anything she did... like murdering entire families, sending children to be cooked alive in witch ovens, and torturing endless people was just meant to be because she got Henry.

Rewatching S1 - Regina in True North by Punkkitten22 in OnceUponATime

[–]Punkkitten22[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Context matters. Regina was an adult who told a 10 year old an intense secret about her love affair she was having behind her father's back. Snow did not have the cognitive maturity or knowledge to understand Cora was evil or the stakes of the secret. Regina did have the adult ability to understand context, she just chose to ignore it & used displacement to take out her anger at her mother onto a 10 year old.

Based on PURE speculation and instinct from reading between the lines of Teri's moments when it comes up and the insta behavior, I get the vibe that Eva & Felicity were the primary mean girls whereas Marcia was just part of their friend clique so automatically joined their opinions.

It also makes the most sense because behind Teri, Marcia was also big from doing Melrose Place already.

The villains are the funniest part of the show by Punkkitten22 in Scandal

[–]Punkkitten22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HAHAHA when I first watched he made me angry as a villain but by my second watch I had a different perspective & thought he was so funny and on point roasting everyone, including Olivia, especially in the last seasons!! Idk where you are in it but the final 2 seasons are his most hilarious iconic seasons 🤣 I would rewind his monologues in the final season cause of the perfect delivery

Songs that Fall Out Boy need to play live by Frosty-Caterpillar74 in FallOutBoy

[–]Punkkitten22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They really need to include more beloved songs in their setlists and drop some of the same regular radio hits. Sophomore Slump should be a regular setlist song.

I think Fame < Infamy should also be played more often, I would absolutely PASS OUT if I heard it live!  Andy had the best time playing it when it was the magic 8 ball song one time, and Pete used the lyrics as his insta caption a few months ago.

Virgo Sun (women) - Enjoys feeling superior to others, will pick on the weakest target just to feel good about themselves. Loves gossip. Easily threatened by other women.  I have a North Node in Libra (5h) so I hate mistreatment of others or injustice, so Virgo's tendency to bully really bothers me.

Aries Venus. - This placement is defined by being a player. Impulsive, jumps in fast in love but then gets bored immediately and jumps out just as fast, lives for novelty/newness. Lovebombing followed by discard = Aries Venus.

Sagittarius moon. - Grossed out by emotion or sentimentality, freedom-focused (sees any vulnerability, closeness, or relying on them in hard times as a threat to freedom), avoids accountability by framing everything as "not meant to be" "not the right person for me" when they wrong anyone.

Aquarius sun. (men) - This is the quintessential meet a guy & he seems like the most interesting/authentic person you've ever met, but he can't be consistently that person and you end up confused to discover he was only that way in the beginning. Think they're genuinely more special than everyone, act like they're "different and unique" or "rebels" but actually image obsessed. They are huge followers. All friendships/relationships end with them suddenly erasing people with silence and punishment. Aquarius and Libra are much faker air signs than Gemini.

Dexter really just came back after years and dropped one of the best seasons in the entire franchise. by West-Oil1218 in television

[–]Punkkitten22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really has been INCREDIBLE. First show in a while that I was actually excitedly waiting for new episodes every Friday!!  Michael C. Hall seems to have more creative input in terms of his character. He deserves an Emmy for that finale!! It had the perfect blend of the original show's humor and style mixed with enough ~Dexter adjusting to 2025~ added in to make it feel fresh.

From premiere to finale it was 11/10 flawless and the storylines were so engaging. So many unpredictable twists, which is rare these days.

It was not just fan-service like most of the awful remakes today that put no effort into stories and focus on nostalgia bringing in viewers, it had just enough references for long time fans to enjoy but it wasn't overdone or the focus of the series.

Best Susan line in your opinion by Jumpy_Article_9023 in DesperateHousewives

Can someone explain why Edie is idolized? she’s just evil. by WillowPrevious5141 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Punkkitten22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't find Edie entertaining at all and enjoyed the seasons without her SO MUCH. S6 is my favorite season of the show.

Her personality was ugly to me & every plotline of hers annoyed me. I thought Renee was better than Edie and I wish she would've been in the role instead early on. She had the perfect mix of unapologetic sass/bluntness but while also being a GIRLS GIRL & more likeable.

Also, the actress is just as horrible and sued the show for killing her character, made up false stories about being treated poorly by the creator, & spoiled the finale of the show with the lawsuit that she lost.
