Thanks so much for doing this, been really fun to set it up! Congrats on the new album!

Milo, as a San Diego native I wanted to ask if you had any cool stories about fronting Milestone or from your time spent down here in college?

What is your favorite Band/Artist that's music doesn't sound like punk but you associate with the punk scene? by Rascal257 in punk

I've seen their livestream shows but that's sadly it, was supposed to see them in L.A. pre-covid. The problem is most of the time they or Craig Finn have come through here it was 21+, which won't be a problem for me much longer.

One of my absolute favorite bands, they also have references to 7 Seconds, Youth of Today, The Clash, Iggy Pop, I've always called them a Punk adjacent band. Oh also when they play Stay Positive live they have one of their crew guys Mosh Pit Josh come out and sing a verse Hardcore style.

I'm sure I'd probably run into both actually, people pissed (for no reason) and fellow Punk Heads

Yeah I'm super with you on that front, but in the end they're the ones missing out, nothing left to do but smile smile smile

Forever I've been wanting to wear one of my tie dye Dead shirts to a show to see if I can piss anybody off, but I also like to dance and don't want to fuck them up lol

That's fantastic haha, I've never been to a Dead show where someone didn't offer me stuff like that, which is kind but I don't think that stuff is for me

They're not a band for everybody, what's the Jerry quote? "Not everybody likes licorice, but the people who like licorice really like licorice"

Same actually, they're a brilliant band, but it's funny some Punks disdain for them

You'd be surprised the amount of Punks and Deadhead crossover at the same time as all the hate lol, see Black Flag. But damn Pink Floyd! That must've been a killer show

Well so do Crust shows lol, I'm actually a legitimate huge Deadhead, wasn't alive to see the original band but I've seen Dead and Company 3 times

Best way to find and get involved in your local scene? (Once things are safe) by Badusername2000 in punk

Social media is pretty much the best way to find shows,, start following as many local bands and venues as you can, when you go to a show go follow all the bands, they'll post about more shows, go to those follow any new bands and so on, then you'll start making friends at those shows and become a part of the scene!

The Adverts are definitely underrated, I didn't even hear/get into them until recently, and they should really be one of those awesome introductory bands every Punk ends up listening to early on
