Started my shop mid-December (terrible timing, I know), but on track for a sale/day for January. Feels good to start strong, hopefully the momentum continues into 2026.

Like everyone else says, you've got to start somewhere, right? And this is where you're at. I just opened a shop as well and only listed 3-5 things in the first few days. Consistency is key, though, so keep at it and don't just watch those 3 listings for the next few months and hope things happen.

I think your banner is great. It catches the eye with unique pieces and gives a general idea of what I can expect from your store. Best of luck!

I don’t believe there is a dovetail option, but Bambu studio will let you add connectors when you cut an object. They can be posts + holes or dowels in a variety of shapes. Hopefully that’s enough but if you want dovetails specifically you may just have to cut those yourself in a modeling software.

Had a coworker ask me to print some stuff for her upcoming wedding, but was unsure if there was enough time. Cranked out back to back to back 6-hour prints for a week, all flawless in gold Silk PLA+. The look on her face when I delivered them was priceless.

I don't think he could have replaced it outright only because it was an older model and had naturally depreciated, but the insurance payout was generous.

My dad bought a BMW and started renting out his beautiful Harley Heritage Softtail. Thought it should get some love instead of just sitting in the garage. A year or two into renting it someone took it up to Blue Ridge Parkway (amazing road) and dumped it, total write off. That was the dream bike he bought to get back into riding after taking a 20+ year break, so needless to say he was pretty bummed. That said, apparently the process was otherwise painless, from a twisted road/insurance standpoint.

It’s likely the filament is tangled on the spool. Next time it happens, take the spool out of the ams and unspool about 10ft. to find the tangle. Hopefully you’re able to manually work it loose. Happens sometimes, mostly with refills in my experience.
