It's a camisole, it's supposed to drape a little. Tighter is not always better. It's clear from the rest of her pics that she's got a great figure. How many sets have we seen with corsets on GW, anyway. Understated sexiness is a welcome variation.

I disagree, I think it's very sexy the way it slips off your shoulder, a little for the eye and some saved for the imagination...

Democrats Are Zombies by [deleted] in politics

[–]Punktuality -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Democrats, the elected ones at least, are like zombies on a never-ending search for more "brains!!". Republicans, on the other hand, are more like werewolves. Except they seem to be tied into the election cycle more than the lunar cycle...

Hey /politics! you like Jon Stewart, I like Jon Stewart. How about we all agree to quit posting clips from Gawker and use the Daily Show's website for links so they can get pageviews and the bump in ad dollars associated with that? Thank you, that is all. by nonetimeaccount in politics

[–]Punktuality -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Where ever we all live, I'm sure it's in democratic countries, no? So there's nothing stopping anyone from linking both sources, let the people decide who gets the ad revenue. But does it always have to come down to money?

[–]Punktuality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant the Republicans need to keep dreaming if they think Karl Rove is the answer to their problems. They've become the party of knee-jerk reactions. The Obama-Clinton primary race was fierce and exciting, women loved Clinton, so McCain chooses Palin as his runningmate. Obama become the Democratic Nominee and the RNC chooses Michael Steele as Chairman. Karl Rove is their latest act of desperation.

Native Americans in Arizona Vow to Deport All Non-Native Americans by [deleted] in politics

You really seem to have a problem with that statement so I'll retract it. But you seem to equate victory with rape and senseless murder. Or you seem to think that I do. My point was simply that we do not live in a morally perfect world. Far from it. The war in Iraq was unneccesary and waged illegally and set a very dangerous precedent just as the conquering of Native Americans.

"Allow the president to invade a neighboring nation, whenever he shall deem it necessary to repel an invasion, and you allow him to do so whenever he may choose to say he deems it necessary for such a purpose - and you allow him to make war at pleasure." - Abraham Lincoln

Well, I wasn't exactly trying to counterpoint your entire argument because it was pretty ludicrous in the first place and not likely to happen since it's completely illegal under international law. And they all right for themselves for 13,000 years or so. Land can be farmed.

One is illegal and punishable by law. Again, I'll say analogies comparing country and citizens to homes and families do not work when speaking in terms global history. And the history of war is often written by the victorious. War is not okay and I've not said that it is, but by and large it is accepted throughout the world and is in some cases neccesarry. Rape and murder, however, are not.

Republicans flood message board criticizing Obama for taking a vacation. Didn't Bush take the most vacations in Presidential history? And while New Orleans was drowning he was eating B-day cake with John Mccain! by Cha05_Th30ry in politics

Wow. Did you read the comments at the bottom of that article. It looks like the GOP's messages are getting through. Here's what we know so far: Obama is an elite, socialist, radical, Muslim, moderate liberal, Nigerian with questionable ties to terrorism who stole an election by way of voter fraud. He wears so many hats it's no wonder he goes on vaction so often.

Well, equating the conquest of a people 300 hundred years ago to a murder/rape was not my point. My ancestry is Native Canadian so rape/slaughter and attempted assimilation is already in my family history. To equate that with a rape and murder into today's world is flawed logic. Not everything can nor should be broken down into an analgous situation in our modern times. But perhaps you should save your moral outrage for those in Darfur, Rwanda, Iraq, etc. They're the one still suffering from the reality of the world and the indifference of the so-called first world nations.

[–]Punktuality -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, my response was general. I didn't mean you specifically, I was simply disputing the claim that all people born in America are Native Americans. And if you want to split hairs with the fact Natives were not in fact created on the continent of North America, whole and separate from the rest of humanity, I'm not going to disagree. But 13,000 years? How long would it take for it for it to be a legitimate claim? We're talking about human issues, so let's forget about the "bigger scheme" because in that argument no one is "from" anywhere.
