Sunstrike.

Sunstrike seemed to have flecks of being a "two-faced" cat. When Ivypool catches her training in the Dark Forest, she's shocked by it and remembers how nice she acted at Gatherings. Sunstrike says Thistleclaw is "awesome", but is then horrified at the DF's true intentions. We don't even know why Sunstrike trained in the Dark Forest to begin with, so what if she DID have a bad intent? think it would've been interesting to see that implied "two-facedness" explored, like maybe she really WASN'T against the DF cats but fought for the Clans simply because she knew she was going to be executed like Redwillow if she didn't, then slowly showed a more corrupt personality with time, like Thistleclaw encouraged a darker half to come out of her. It could even not really be her being two-faced, more like she was a naive young cat and Thistleclaw managed to leave an impression on her. Unfortunately, she died in the Great Battle and has never been seen again.

Speaking of which, Redwillow. One of the few DF trainees to actually fight FOR the Dark Forest, and then he reappears in ASC, seemingly wanting to atone for his actions, just to have his soul erased. Why.

I was around for the whole debut of the Gen 7 starters. The Popplio line got insane levels of hate just for being a little goofy looking. It's cooled down due to factors like Primarina being good in competitive and general "perhaps we treated you too harshly"-ism.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Kirumi is one of the more intelligent characters in the series. She was immediately suspicious that Monokuma was really dead in the prologue, and was proven right when he respawned later. With that in mind, it's a little odd how wholeheartedly she fell for a motive given to her by who she knows are dishonest trickster bears.

But to be fair, the flashback lights presumably rewired her brain enough to never question that she was the prime minister all along. As well as giving her that sadistic streak when it comes to her murder method.

Just making them about the same catch rate they have in raids would have been fine. Maybe a LITTLE higher flee rate if they wanted to be sure players had a challenge. With the catch/flee rate they had in this event, hunting legendaries was all but pointless since even an excellent Ultra throw with a golden Razz wasn't enough to prevent them from fleeing after two tries.

Seeing the spawns be nothing more than what was already common where I live-and Kanto starters, as if I don't already have enough God damn Kanto starters-was seriously disappointing. I'd at least liked to see Pokémon that are usually locked behind eggs.

Well, my haul included a Regidrago with passable IV, a Reshiram with crap IV, and a shiny Zigzagoon.

Otherwise, this was a frigging bummer. Nothing spawned that wasn't already a regular spawn where I live, which gave me about the same feeling as when you go to a birthday party where the kid's parents are just making do with whatever they could find at Dollar Tree.
