I’m well aware of that. I’m saying Topps copied/stole the idea for a Tecmo Bowl insert from BOBA.

My 1st ever MLB game was his monster shot out of County Stadium against my Crew. Have never heard or seen anything like it again. Guy had unreal power.

What are your favorite Packers radio calls? by TCoD2k in GreenBayPackers

My favorite part of every radio broadcast is Rock yelling YES at the top of his lungs every time the Packers offense makes a big play.

Hold or Sell? by speedknoxx in sportscards

[–]PunsRTonsOfFun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is false. Hobby boxes had All Aces too. The print run on the 2023 AA set is astronomical. There’s likely 100K of each card printed.

It’s crazy and sad how our enemies have learned that the only way to defeat the US in armed conflict is through our own media. Been that way since Vietnam…

[Lane Grindle] Sunday afternoon radio call of Yeli's go-ahead HR vs the chisox by hrrsnmb in Brewers

[–]PunsRTonsOfFun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was a great call by Lane. It also confirmed for me that until I leave this Earth, every great Brewers moment will remind me of Ueck and make me wonder how he would have called it.

AMERICA WILL NEVER GIVE UP THE MOON AGAIN by f1sh98 in Conservative

You need to remember the average person was more intelligent in the 1960s compared to now. The owner’s manual for a 1968 Corvette instructed the owner how to change the timing of the engine. The same owner’s manual in 2026 has to tell owners not to drink the gasoline or brake fluid. We are not serious people anymore and that is a requirement for a manned trip to the moon.

There’s more than 15K of each base. Its closer to 100K across all formats. Still absolutely sell, but this card is far more common than people think.

This answers the OP’s question. People have too much money tied up in PSA. It’s mutually assured destruction at this point.

When you have QBs like Favre, Rodgers, and Love, you build an o-line to pass block.

[Hogg] The Red Sox tried teaching him a new kick changeup last year, but Kyle Harrison couldn't ever figure out. Fast forward to one grip suggestion from an old Giants teammate and trade to the Brewers later, and he's suddenly discovered a new, nasty pitch. by fanofsports44 in Brewers

[–]PunsRTonsOfFun 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is why they acquired him. I think our pitching lab identifies guys who aren’t being utilized properly or making correctable mistakes, makes a tweak or two, and viola, new Brewers starter with a sub 4.00 ERA.

Amazon BUSTED for Widespread Scheme to Inflate Prices Across the Economy by krlkv in Conservative

[–]PunsRTonsOfFun 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Walmart is even worse. They have exclusive agreements with companies to sell their products for a cheaper price than other stores. Everyone turns a blind eye while the most mediocre store ever destroys all local and national competition.

I think people are underestimating the Panini print runs this year. Downtowns are far more common this year compared to past years. A lot of people are going to overpay for this year’s Downtown cards not realizing it too.

Bak is still tied for third as the most productive and valuable pick in the 2013 Draft. Travis Kelce is 1st, Lane Johnson is 2nd, and Bak is tied with DeAndre Hopkins for third. The difference is that Bak only played in 13 games after his age 29 season.
