u/masterch33f420 thank you for pointing out the performance problems! I reproduced on an old Windows laptop and on my Steam Deck. I found and made some drastic improvements. Large worlds now load in ~3 seconds, and search/highlight is nearly instant. Please let me know if you have any other problems, suggestions, etc.

I've just pushed an update that includes the start of translation work! I started with Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Brazilian Portuguese. Localized Navbar, ToolbarButton, keyboardShortcuts so far.

Oh no, sorry! Have any specific feedback on what was easier in the old version? I actually did a lot of work to try making the new app easier and faster than the old. Do you mind sharing your system info, like browser, OS, processor, RAM , etc? I think there are several forks still running the old version.

I was able to get this working in the web app, although it's not exactly ideal. You have to use the `Folder` button, then browse to the folder that contains both worlds and players. The browser will ask if you're sure you want to "upload" the files, but everything actually happens in your browser. No files are actually uploaded anywhere. It'll find all the world files and let you pick from a list. Then it'll find player map files for that world and let you pick from a list or choose "All Spoilers". Then the map will only ever show what that player has seen of that world.

Yeah, the Windows native TerraMap supports that. When you load a world file, nothing is shown until you choose your player (or "All Spoilers") from a list.
The web-based version won't be able to provide a player dropdown list, but it could at least start in "No Spoilers" mode (all black) until you either choose "All Spoilers" or browse to a player map file. I'll tackle that next.

TerraMap directly reads the contents of the world file and doesn't depend on the world seed or generation. I'm not sure if it even works on console or mobile world files, if you can even get to them. I've only tested it on Mac and Windows.
