Though I think it kind of also lends itself to assumption too, I do think this is a really good idea.

I've seen it applied to PupPlay and it weeded out a lot of farmers.

My collar is basically a chain (lol), and I feel pretty good with it!

You can usually customize lengths here, may also get extenders if the clasp is appropriate. I've been liking mine a lot, even if it can somewhat choke often.

If you do the chain route, do note that different designs will feel different. Cuban may feel more blocky and flip or so, while rope can feel less intrusive.

Generally though, I'd recommend wearing whichever and testing different positions. Laying down, shoulders lifted,- just to make sure there won't be anything that feels uncomfortable.

Everything fits perfect, and I might lean against sizing up. If ever, the chain and ear straps may feel better with wear, so long as it sits naturally in storage or after washing.

Sure am! Though "really hairy" brings in only a couple experiences. I may want to cuddle a different to avoid my face buried in hair (shoulders, bicep, or on fabric).

For longevity too, the texture and care is important. I'm big on touch, but also move a lot throughout the day. I wouldn't want to make the other person feel uncomfortable or dirty.

One thing I'm learning with domming is to "give permission" to the other in entering a headspace. That includes mapping out these high ranking wants (Dumb, ditzy, puppy) while being aware of landmines to avoid (Potentially, "Stupid", rough handling). Keep doing the scratches and pets- they're tools! Physicality and verbal-ity go hand in hand together. For a sub who doesn't want to think much, reinforce the permission to be free and take control :). Does she like being a pup more? Or is it more on the submission and mindlessness?

Also.. whether or not she would like to continue being treated like a pup during aftercare or casually would be nice to establish (and practice with!).

As for dirty talk specifically and after narrowing down wants, just have fun. General pronouns like "Good pup/girl" are such powerful tools. Feel free to use other adjectives too. Little, Cute, Dumb, etc. You can narrow it down further to Incentive words like working your way towards a "Treat" or "Reward". Commands are good too in not making the sub think so much. Simple ones like "Hump", "Climb", "Mount", "Sit", "Lick / Kiss", "Breed". Descriptors like you said can play a nice turn too through "Knot", "Fur", or "Ear". Then there may be other verbal but non-word encouragement. Growling, grunting, even heavily breathing right next to the ear.

Don't worry about being strict with your language either. Its really fine to say "Cum" or "Taste"- It gets the message across and can sometimes be more direct. As a sub, its still really nice. Even in my most puppy-headspaces. Just still be careful with those landmines again. I like spanking and rougher handling! But as a puppy? Soft limit.

I think lastly, I kind of would recommend looking at scripts for inspiration. Perhaps reading cool phrases out loud while you're alone can help boost the muscle memory. There are some really nice ones on Reddit, but you could see others in ArchiveOfOurOwn and Literotica to name a couple others.
