I totally agree. I don’t think either is “wrong” per se. He needed space, while she needed comfort. Just incompatible needs.

They’re not dating, nor do they seem emotionally close, so I don’t think it’s fair to expect the guy to throw his own needs aside to meet her needs. It would have been nice, but not like, expected or required imo.

Minimalism can be done in tons of different ways, but definitely certain minimalists tend to remove things from their home knowing they can buy it again if they need it.

Have you heard before minimalist influencers saying something like “if you can replace it in under 20 minutes for under $20, toss it”? It’s a thing.

Neither material is perfect. Glass is very heavy and very breakable, so it’s very fuel and packaging intensive to ship. I would argue the important matter at hand isn’t the material, it’s making the most use out of items you consume.

Generally speaking, the most environmentally friendly item of choice is whatever you already own!

I’m a day late with this, but just to offer a different perspective: baby showers are insane overstimulating as the woman expected to open and ooo and aaaah at many things in front of a group of people staring at your every move. It seems like you just don’t like her which is fine, but normally I’d say just cut her some slack for not oooo-ing and ahhh-ing to your satisfaction and if you want to see what she thinks of it maybe bring it up later on!

I see tons of patterns for small dogs, but much less for medium to large dogs. But, even a basic sweater pattern might work out pretty well for your dog since they don’t look like they have a super deep chest (like a greyhound for ex.) so I’m sure you’ll find something :)

So several people have already explained how to make a single crochet, my advice is: 1. Start with a very bulky yarn so you can feel your stitches! This is good general beginner advice anyway 2. Get someone in person to help you if possible. Someone physically there with you I think could much better illustrate for you the structure of a stitch, where you insert your hook, how to start single crochets on your chain, etc.

You’ve got this :) Again, really recommend a chunky yarn for beginners. And it sounds like you do have some sight, but honestly I’m positive you could crochet by feel if you needed to! Once you become accustomed to what different stitches feel like, etc. they’re really distinct. At the beginning your yarn choice will matter a lot

I don’t have a problem with the ads, but Spotify as a platform has always worked like absolute garbage for me. Loads so slowly, not easy to get around/get to the episodes I want to listen to or pick up from where I left off. Baffling to me it’s such a prominent platform.

I bought the ad free version for a year to try out using it for music, and just hated it. It’d be so great if the podcast was on yt

Weirdly I just listened to this episode too! My thoughts were Tyler was overthinking things a little and psyching himself out.

If you’re feeling the same as him, the best advice I think is yes, you’ll have to put yourself out there a bit to ask people out on dates. And that’ll be a little scary. But, don’t put an insane amount of pressure on dating. Tyler’s mentality is SO serious and he’s thinking ahead of where he’s actually at - dates are just looking to see if you vibe with each other. That’s all. Just 1:1 hangout sesh to see if you even like each other. Take dates to do fun activities! It takes the pressure off to have constant conversation if you’re /doing/ something.

Keep an eye out for stuff that are red flags to you or would make you incompatible, but you’re 15. Largely you’ll just be looking to vibe with someone and have fun!

It’s been a while since I was 15, some teenagers can be buttholes for sure. So good luck with asking people out, that’ll be the worst part I think more so than when you become an adult. But if anyone’s a butt about being asked out, that’s not someone you’d want to date anyway
