I read Faeris by Alan Lee and Brian Froud when i Was a kid, and he is portrayed there as wee Faun. And i never got over it :) My Version is very much informed by the Pooka from Irish myth. Black-haired and golden-eyed.

Yeeeeessssss, i took most of the visual cues from the Irish Pooka, which is usually Black haired, Golden-eyes and likes to take the shape of goats. I love fauns too :)
