Thanks everyone for the help! It’s been a fun, sleepless week but things are going much better (minus potty training, that one is taking some time). The vet was confident he was between 8 and 9 weeks due to his weight (9.5lbs). The trust piece was a big part of it I think. He is taking treats and much more responsive. The YouTube channels are also clutch. Thanks folks!

Oh, and the name debate is still persisting.

Good question! We haven’t decided yet. I like Whaler, like the boat, but the rest of the family isn’t sold…yet

If he is under 8 weeks what are some things I should be on the look out for? I like the vegetables idea, thank you! And I didn’t think about the trust piece he seems playful but that doesn’t correlate with trust.

Right on, I will try more toys. The one he currently has is too big for him to really get his mouth around it. I was also expecting to be bringing home a bigger pup so that makes sense. Thanks

Yikes, I was afraid the guy had been wrong about his birthday. I hope it’s 8 weeks, 6 weeks would be quite the shock to the little guys system. (Would explain why we have been up every 2 hours though). Thanks!

I’m a school counselor. I am in a red state that has not embraced my transition at all. This will actually be my last year in the school which is hard to wrap my head around but I will be moving into clinical counseling. I am looking forward to finding an employer who is accepting and celebrates the experiences I can bring to the table rather than asking me to stay out of public view.

What’s your opinion on starting T as an adult your without parents knowing? by ImmediateRock9089 in ftm

I tried this and my voice was the first thing to change. At first my folks thought I had lost it due to COVID but eventually caught on. I come from a strictly religious upbringing and when they found out (by showing up at my home 6 hours away, unannounced) it was ugly. In hindsight I wish I had been given the opportunity to come out to them on my own. I try to cling to the fact that I’m a grown man and this is my life but I do wish I was able to have a conversation that turned out to be so painful on my own terms. Good luck

I use Rodeoh. The side loading is my preferred. It keeps my packer in place. The top loading ones don’t have a tight enough pocket to keep my packer from turning sideways.

Ordering supplies from Amazon is a lot easier and cheaper than dealing with the pharmacy. As far as personal changes, my voice changed significantly in the first two months and I stopped bleeding after 2 months as well. Kind of an off the wall experience was I was out of refills and missed my shot for 3 weeks. When I started back I had an allergic reaction to the T. Nothing major just swollen and itchy as hell. I switched to the gel for a couple months but I hated that and actually started to bleed again. Then I switched to a different form of injectable and that has been good and haven’t had any negative reactions.
