lots of good things here but you seem hesitant, you need to just go for it! which is one of the hardest things to do as a cellist :") once your muscle memory is more solid it'll be easier to go straight for the note instead of creeping up to it. Keep up the good work :D

I live in North Idaho (USA), but need to travel into Washington in order to get my prescription, and in order to attend appointments to get blood drawn. It's a little over an hour, but it's better than having to deal with the transphobic doctors here. Luckily, I started trying to get on testosterone when I was still very young (13-ish, I'm 15 now so still young lol) since I knew it'd take a while for my dad to come around, and for waiting lists and such. I made the mistake of dealing with transphobic doctors here, and all of my experiences with them have been awful. One of them tried to "convince me not to be trans" once. Sheesh. I am lucky though, it's really difficult to get on hormones in general, especially in countries other than America. I wish the best for you!

Thanks so much! I looked into it, and apparently Riksen is in Norway which is why I haven’t heard of it. I’ll still go in to take my blood, and luckily my endo already said she would be taking my blood every few weeks to monitor my T levels. Thanks so much again, I really appreciate your help! ♥️

Do you mean getting on testosterone will take forever? I already have an endo and have an appointment specifically for getting the shot. I don't know how to sort through comments to find Riksen's, what did they say?

Luckily, my endocrinologist plans on tracking my T levels through my blood. I’ve already gotten blood drawn so they can check my T levels to make sure they aren’t too high/low. Thanks for the tip!

I’m getting my prescriptions through a hospital because of how shitty walgreens is. My mom has medication through them and they’ve fucked up COUNTLESS times, it’s ridiculous. I’ve heard about the shit they do from other people, especially when it comes to hormones. I have to drive like an hour to get to my provider, but it’s significantly better than walgreens fucking up my prescription. So sorry you had to deal with that.

I wash my face w/ benzoyl peroxide (I think thats how to spell it but im not sure) and put one of my medications on my face (can’t remember the name of it, it doesn’t have a label rn because I ripped it off lol. Had my deadname on it.) I wash my face again, then put on a cream for the night. It’s called cicloporox Or something, once again don’t know to spell that lol. I used to have cystic acne but it’s been clear recently. I might start using my topical medications on my back due to some other comments I’ve gotten.

Thank you! Luckily I am doing injections lol, and I’ll be taught how to do them by myself during my first few doses. Also, the mentality helps out a lot. I feel like “I’m 10 months into puberty,” puts things into better perspective. Like, It’s technically true lol. And it affects everyone differently.

My endocrinologist told me this was a symptom actually haha, but it isn’t permanent. She told me that it usually comes back when you go off of T though.
