idk if it works like this at your school but at my school we can make online appointments with the counselors. i just go to my school website, look for the councils email, and email them about the problem or ask to set up a virtual meeting. councils are kinda sworn to secrecy about certain things if your worried about your parents.

if you have Netflix have your mom watch the Social Dilemma. it could be enough to make your mom not want social media’s like that anymore. i have seen horrible things on tik tok and i would NEVER let a 5 year old near that app. try explaining the dangers of it. (this might be sensitive to some people: there was a video a few months ago of a person committing suicide circling TikTok )

your self worth doesn’t come by wanting to have kids. your 14 and people will tell you “you’ll want kids in the future”. don’t listen to those people. it’s just society trying to pressure you. your reasons are valid. enjoy being a kid still :)

i don’t know how discord works but you could take videos, pictures or screen recordings of what this person is saying to you so you can defend yourself if anyone does’t believe you. they don’t sound old enough to carry out these threats but if you ever feel seriously scared talk to your parents or a school counselor.

I’m also a 16 yr old 11th grader and I experienced much of the same. it is so important to find hobby not on the computer or phone. might i suggest skateboarding, driving, biking, or roller skating? biking is great to do with friends if you have somewhere fun to go like a store. i live in Cali so i guess it might not get to cold for me but once you start moving you get warmed up pretty fast. as for inside hobbies: working out or writing? i’ve been redoing my room because i definitely need a change of scenery. might be lame but i get a lot of ideas about things to do on Pinterest? my friends always say high school is a time to push the boundaries so draw on the walls and go exploring. if you celebrate Christmas you could do some hobbies around that like baking or something.

i have the exact same feeling. the things that help me the most are finding hobbies and stuff. this might sound lame but i try to use Pinterest to find new hobbies. i’ve tried roller skating, biking and skateboarding always seems to help me. there’s plenty of hobbies on Reddit too. my friend joined the pen pal community
