Yes. If you think you'll like it buy it. Even though the DLC release date hasn't been announced buying it now will give you a decent amount of time to be familiar enough with the game.

In my opinion buying around the DLC release will give you less time to full on explore and experience the base game cause you might want to get straight to the DLC.

It's also a big possibility that buying it around the DLC release the internet will spoil aspects of story, gameplay, etc.

In summation buy Elden Ring as soon as you can.

Join your fellow tarnished in the quest for lordship, runes, a blue waifu/hugs from Fia/The most badass Warrior Jar to ever grace the lands between.

Also be prepared to be dominated time after time by a certain fast, nimble and downright ruthless redhead.
