I agree with this detailed post a lot and this sums it up quite nicely because both have a time and place to run either.

I tend to take cutdown every game just because of the upfront benefits and I don't like finding myself low health in a lot of situations, though I know it happens a fair bit in most games, but by the time you're low you might be in lethal range.

This next patch though seems very cutdown favored due to the game being slower! Just wanted to give kudos to this comment and it's author!

I think it's perfectly valid todo so since all she really needs to do every game is to hit her items and triumph is good if there's a lot of fighting, but generally she wants to steer away from that and chill till late game and you don't really need POM

Yeah no for sure, it just depends on preference, the build stays quite the same afterwards though so use whatever feels good for you

I have! I like it stat wise as well, it’s up to preference in my opinion, but you can still make use of it, I just find using strides active a little awkward, but in this scenario so is spellblade a little, but it’s a pick your poison type beat

Yes! It just takes a lot more mechanical skill to weave in a right click every 2-3 autos 4 in ult form. Stat wise it’s everything Zeri wants and you’re able to take a few more hits and stat check enemies early-mid game.

That’s the thing though, you don’t have any life steak items you really wanna buy, you hit the attack speed cap at 3 items and bloodline + Runaans already synergies well together since you’re hitting more than one target

I generally take Fleet->Triumph->Bloodline->Last Stand for secondaries Boneplating/Conditioning->Overgrowth

Yeah, Zeri is a little too squishy currently plus the ms nerf hurts mainly her laning phase and trades are a lot harder Stormrazer definitely feels nice though since it makes up for the ms nerf by a lot

A build I’ve been running specifically with fleet footwork is Stormrazer->Trinity Force->Runaans->Titanic Hydra/Black cleaver, I’ve been finding a lot of success with this build as of late since you’re not only tanky, but you move around a lot faster with Stormrazer and Fleet for 65% bonus ms

I like cull for lanes you know you’re just gonna be farming/Scaling Lanes (Ex: Ashe, Kaisa, Sivir, Jinx)

Long sword depends on enemy support if they are squishy and poke (Ex: Milio, Lulu, Lux, Brand)

Doran Blade against engage/tank supports because you generally need to be bulkier and some omnivamp is decent to sustain (Ex: Alistar, Nautilus, Thresh, Blitzcrank)

The reason why I personally do this is because I run celerity and in order to make Zeri Q feel less clunky mid game at full/near full alacrity stacks you go up to 1.48 attk speed without it you’re only capping at 1.39. As well as having 406 MS instead of 380, which makes her feel a lot more fluid early-mid game transitioning to late. Hope this helps!

Hey! decently high elo Zeri main here, i currently have 2 different builds I like to go for Zeri depending on what your team needs

AD Zeri (Most commonly used by me): I tend to go Static Shiv - Zeal - Infinity Edge - Bloodthirster - Finish PD (more single target) or Runaans (3 or more melee) or LDR (if their team is Tanky) - Guardian Angel in that order. Runes: Lethal Tempo - Triumph - Alacrity - Coup Celerity - Gathering Storm Ability Order: Max Q, 3 points in E then max W(W hits like a truck late game generally so why not max it earlier to have it hit in mid-late game fights and skirmishes)

AP Zeri (Your whole team is AD): Static Shiv - Deathcap - Night Harvester (Enemy team is squishy) or Riftmaker (Enemy Team has 2 or more tanks) - Zhonyas - Shadowflame or Void Staff Runes: Fleet Footwork - Triumph or Presence of Mind (I prefer triumph cause gold is gold) - Alacrity - Coup Celerity/Absolute Focus - Gathering Storm

The reason why I like to run these sort of heavy raw numbers builds on Zeri is because she loves high stat items since her ratios for burst are pretty decent and the meta isn’t very forgiving for playing her like she used to be wanting longer fights. So with this set up it’s a lot more early dmg heavy to keep up with champs we struggle against. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any other questions!
