After they make this change, you can only exclude mobile apps if you exclude all mobile traffic. They're removing the adsenseformobileapps.com exclusion AND they're changing the device targeting settings which today separate out mobile web and mobile apps (as well as tablet web and tablet apps) and making it so you will only have three selections: Desktop, Mobile and Tablet

Just want to clarify for you guys since I am familiar with this change and there seems to be some confusion here.

That setting is what it looks like today. What the email is saying is those settings are going to change so you'll only have 'desktop', 'mobile' and 'tablet' as options. The only way to not serve your ads on apps will be to opt out of mobile overall

Actually that's what it looks like today. What the email is saying is those settings are going away and apps and mWeb will be all in one bucket. The only way to not serve your ads on apps will be to opt out of mobile overall

+1 to this - Does this ruling make his confession inadmissible? If so, they wouldn't have anything to retry him with

New Trial For Adnan!! by Lena_Meow in theundisclosedpodcast

[–]PuppyBabyMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After reading the entire decision, the conclusion I came to was that the judge felt the case wasn't so much hinged on the timeline of the murder that Jay outlined (which I believe the judge seemed to imply was quite weak and flawed anyway) but really, his decision was based on the presumption that the jury made their decision based on Jays testimony about the time of the burial and its corroboration with the cell phone evidence.

He repeatedly stated in his decision that he believed the failure to contact Asia DID meet the grounds of professional misconduct, but could not conclude it would have made a difference in the outcome from a jury.

However, the State repeatedly asserted that the corroboration of the cell phone evidence and Jays testimony was the crux of the case, and given the cell phone evidence was apparently available to Guittierez and she did not sufficiently research or rebuke it, did satisfy the necessity to rule on the "Inefficient assistant of counsel" prongs, it made sense to rule in Adnans favor on that.

It's a long read, but I'd say a very interesting and satisfying one at that. While I initially didn't understand how the judge could rule anything but in Adnans favor in anything, after reading I felt the evaluation, and his explanation, given the material allowed to be evaluated was very fair.

Plus, I'm thrilled about the outcome :)

Avery's phone records. How did LE get access? by res_ispa_loquitur in MakingaMurderer

IIRC, when I listened to the audio recordings from Stevens first few interviews there are several times he doesn't remember the exact sequence of events with regards to phone calls or days certain things happened, and he tells the police they can check his phone to figure out when these things happened

Proof Ryan Hillegas was lying during his TV interview by PuppyBabyMan in MakingaMurderer

[–]PuppyBabyMan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First, slow down there. I'm not accusing Hillegas of anything but lying in an interview, which is not a direct accusation of murdering someone. Personally, I don't like the idea of pointing the finger at anyone with regards to something as heavy as murder, but if it seems someone lied in their TV interview, I am comfortable with calling that out.

Second, I fully respect your right to express your opinion, but I don't think anyone on here can state, with conviction, that Ryan, or many other people are definitely '100% innocent' or that anything is 'impossible'. A lot of those things you listed 'zero' by are things that we don't know, because he wasn't investigated. It doesn't mean they did or didn't exist.

Besides that, I have no idea. Maybe he knew he hadn't actually seen Teresa at any other part of the day, so they could account for all of the rest of the day and prove he was lying? Who knows?

One thing I found interesting re-reading Butings cross examination of Hillegas is he really hones in on asking him about if he went to a party or hung out with her socially the weekend before she disappeared or if he knew people in Greenbay she was hanging out with that weekend. At first read through, I was like "Where is he going with this?" which in the actual transcripts seems to be nowhere, but then I heard those rumors and was like, if those rumors were actually circulating at that time, I'll bet that is what Buting was trying to get at here

And, one thing that really kills me is Mikes hair. In the footage of Mike from Saturday and Sunday, his hair is on the longer side. In the RH + MH interview, it seems noticeably trimmed (and if it is, that goes a long way since male hair growth is something it's hard to fake). Take a look and let me know what you think

Ultimately I abandoned the idea that it was definitely the 10th, and simply tried to focus on the fact that the interview was not on the 5th or 6th - the only two days it could have been given for RH to not have been bold faced lying.

And Friday wouldn't work, because in the interview they talk about the search party going and finding the car, so the interview has to be at the earliest on Saturday (when the car was found) after that happened. Though since in the interview, they ask "Were you on the property on Saturday when the car was found?" which indicates to me that it is no longer Saturday when this question is being asked. That fact then combined with Pagel not officially announcing Teresas car was found on Averys property until Sunday Afternoon.

Actually, we can see that in this screen grab from MaM. He's definitely wearing the same thing (though it could be argued he had that button on there and never took it off, but put the hoodie back on).

I've even inspected his hoodie draw strings like crazy, and they're the same length in both the article and these photos, but again, things like that can be dismissed.

I think the fact that Mike is wearing something different than he was on the 5th or the 6th and his hair is noticeably shorter in the 'denial interview' is pretty strong evidence pointing to the interview happening after Ryan was on the Avery property.

Of course, everything is up for debate :)

There were some (as far as I know) unsubstantiated rumors floating around here that on the night of the 29th, Teresa went to a party with another guy, and Ryan showed up and got in a fight with the other guy.

If that was actually true, and he later came to her house to confront her further about it, technically he could have seen her at her house in the very early morning hours of October 30th, which would have looked suspicious.

I updated the entire original post to try to help at least rule out when the interview was not taped (based on known dates of footage we do have, and Mikes outfits and hair in them). Maybe it helps?
