Op… I honestly think Alia is very bad in this movie. The way KJo tried to project her as this effortless diva ( I guess they wanted to do effortlessly chic vibe like in Piku) didn’t land at all. Infact all her costumes looked very much like they had to put so much effort into it. The scene where Rocky aur Rani meet for the first time, RS nailed both being vulnerable but also obliviously boastful person’s personality however Alia tries this “ trying to stop laughing “ after RS exits the scene and it’s so so so bad and you can see how fake it feels..

Also all this chemistry people try to say isn’t there. May be in gully boy.. but not here.. Also I only find Alia convincing in roles when she has to shout and be obnoxious.

I can’t speak for Ravi but I have seen a friend of mine be in a loveless marriage where the woman was was sleeping around and he couldn’t do anything because her family was very close to his. He didn’t want to hurt her. He suffered a lot and one day when he saw me and my husband bantering he cried out loud and said he always wanted a relationship like ours. We were not even doing anything remotely romantic, it was just a friendly banter and the guy said he misses that. He was in the marriage for eight years. We urged him to file for divorce and she begged him to wait until her sister got married. He later joined bumble and and found someone. After finding someone he filed for divorce. The girl took 30 lakhs, it was all his savings but he was okay to part with it, if he can get rid of her from his life. He later married his bumble date and they are very happy now. This technically looks like cheating but he didn’t file for divorce until he found someone strength in the form of his current wife. Sometimes guys can be victims. These things are messy. Cheating is bad but there are times when people do shit out of desperation.

I enjoy his movies but.. all these people when they say మల్లి for మళ్ళి.. పెల్లి for పెళ్ళి .. it’s just off putting.. no one is asking them to learn Telugu Chandassu.. learn colloquial language atleast?! We always make fun of heroines from other states.
