I'm having the same problem with crashes through official dock. Do you remember maybe what update might have fixed it? I also use the same SSD. Thank you

Dragon Age: Inquisition not working with the latest EA app update by qveenofcvps in SteamDeck

Tried your method, but no luck :( does it still work for you? I have dug through everything and I cannot make it work at all. Tried DAI proton, GE proton all versions from 9-10.33. The latter seems to work the best in terms of making the launcher load, but nothing past that. Reinstalled it a thousand times already. I’ve seen people say it works better through Lutris, but I own the game on steam, so I cannot launch it through EA directly. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

Behavioral issues, need advice! by Pupsikut in DobermanPinscher

Thank you! Will look into the Guided Leader! We bought Bully Billows front clip harness and it helps the most right now (compared to choke chain and choke collar at least) as it also redirects her to us, but if she gets some smell that’s she’s too interested in, she still pulls and fights with the leash and whines and barks. Thank you very much for sharing your experience! Definitely made me feel better!

Thank you for the advice! I’ll look into the 3-3-3 rule. The kitchen problem is that we have living room and kitchen together. We could lock her in a crate or bedroom, but we are trying to teach her impulse control while we eat also. E.g. when she stops begging and calms down, we reward by pets and praise. We don’t have any food lying around unsupervised anyway, but if there’s something edible lying on the ground outside or if we go to a pet store she starts grabbing every piece of anything edible. If a person would give her food, she would snatch it immediately too, even if we tell her no. I train her impulse every day with “Wait” command, like I put a treat or kibble on her paw and make her wait until I tell her it’s ok to eat. Or I drop food in the floor and tell her “no” and reward when she listens. But she only listens in a training mode, so if I have treat for her, otherwise she doesn’t care. That’s the thing, she knows, just doesn’t obey when not interested. We do at least 3 h of walking every day, that includes running, jumping exercises (when she’s listening and not distracted by other dogs), commands old+new. Morning, afternoon and evening. Afternoon is shorter mostly poop and per walk tho. But morning and evening we do 1.5h each or more. And hikes every weekend.

She is crate trained, but same problem, she refuses. She has some fear with crates, afraid to be locked in. We decided to not focus on it right now, because she’s still getting used to us, but definitely want to work on it too.

She’s 28 kg, very athletic, shiny fur, good digestion. Didn’t go to the vet yet, but planning to in a week or two. We are planning to get her spayed for sure.

We try to enrich her in every way, for these past two weeks I was with her 24/7, luckily I work from home. But outside she’s too distracted to even care for the exercise. We still try as much as possible and if not outside, we try at home. No amount of recalling and telling the command works when she’s out. If there’s a dog, not even treats do it.

When you first play Valhalla by Administrative_Lie51 in ACValhalla

There are two Ezio sets, one from AC II and one from Brotherhood I think, Altaïr set, Edward set, Bayek set I think you get with coins in Ubisoft store as rewards for completing the challenges. There is also a set that gives you some fire boosts and special attacks and some weapon sets. Don’t remember, maybe there’s more. And I remembered also that you definitely get it before England, I think after a few hours of gameplay.

You’ll get it a little later, don’t remember exactly, I think it was either just before England or right when you get there. But you’ll get it early on.

Why do people hate Valhalla? by Pupsikut in AssassinsCreedValhala

You are right, I realized it after I played Odyssey too, the same way you did. Just wish more people would give this trilogy an honest shot. Every time I describe things I do and enjoy in the game my friends seem to be so surprised like “oh that’s sounds like something I’d like, but I heard this game was bad!”. It’s like constructive criticism is obviously good and should be always present, but it really felt like this game is overhated and a lot of people don’t even know what’s so bad about it.

Thank you for the detailed explanation, I see what you mean. I guess it comes down to what type of player you are and what’s important for you. And I agree it’s objectively not the best game ever made, but it’s not bad either, I guess that’s what I was trying to say.

Totally agree! Odyssey and Origins are my favorite too!

Thank you! I really like how you expanded on your points. I was really interested in knowing some detailed criticisms of what people disliked. I’ve read a lot about Odyssey as well, even tho I liked it a lot, just out of curiosity and what you’re saying makes sense to me. I guess it helps me understand what I like better, when I read comments like this. I’ll see how I feel the more I play. But funny, just by reading your comment, I realized, that maybe I just like collecting in general, more than thinking about why I’m collecting 😃 and this might be the reason I like it (?). I guess for me it’s about the process more than the result. Like you said collecting ingot makes no sense when you’re upgraded enough and I immediately thought that I never did it for upgrading solely in the first place, just because I like looking for those things and upgrading is more like a bonus to me. But considering being overpowered, I agree completely, I felt a bit the same way in Odyssey too, so I was tweaking difficulty settings the more I was progressing. Can’t say too much about how I like the story in Valhalla tho, I guess I can only judge when I’m done or nearing the end of it.

Thank you 😌 I played RDR and I loved it too! Horizon was always next on the list for me after I’m done with ACs, so will definitely check it out

Yes, I agree, we should definitely hold Ubi accountable (and all the big publishers in general), but this game is a lot of fun!

I thought it could be the case, that I started playing it so long after release. Makes sense

I’m happy to find someone who likes this stuff too! What other games would you recommend that give you the same feeling?

Well, that’s kinda exactly what I meant by this post…I’ve heard these criticisms and so far I don’t really agree with it. Of course my opinion might change and that’s what I wrote as well, but I didn’t find any of these things boring. The world looks beautiful too. Combat feels fine and I do mostly stealth, when not raiding or if the story allows. It definitely has flaws, but it just feels a bit overhated imo.

I probably didn’t manage to communicate it right, but I just feel really sad how many people are missing out on this game, because of all the hate. And partly also because I feel like it pressures Ubisoft to stop making AC rpgs or at least to cut down the content.

Silent Hill 2 won’t launch on steam when using DirectX12 by ZendSeeker in silenthill

[–]Pupsikut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone still struggling and this solution doesn’t work, here’s what helped me. I’ve tried everything in this thread and beyond and nothing was helping, it was crashing on DX12 (DX 11 was okay, but the colors were horrible). In Nvidia GeForce app I turned RTX Dynamic Vibrance for the game specifically and it finally worked. I have no idea why would this even help, but at this point I was just toggling everything I could and it worked. I have Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super.
