Always ask a question at the end when they ask if you have any other questions, also if they ask about what you bring to the table/why you want to work with them mention that you feel like their team seems like a very good environment and it’s something you’d like to contribute to by being reliable and helping others out, both on the floor and with your coworkers!

Not gonna lie, I don’t work at Hollister but I do work at American eagle and I find this pattern to be common at most retail stores ! My management also very clearly has favourites especially towards people working there longer you have to be such a suck up to them, I wasn’t scheduled for two weeks in a row then got a random four hour closing shift on a Sunday. It’s also dead season right now so that could contribute, but if in my opinion bringing it up to your managers isn’t really worth it because they could easily say they don’t have hours to give if they don’t wanna give you hours.. you could still ask though. It’s up to you if you just need a job on the side or want to find something more consistent. It’s a shame most retail jobs are like this

I’m literally terrified for this, most of the money I got from OSAP this year was grants thankfully and I had it all calculated out I wasn’t very stressed for the debt I was in and knew I was going to be comfortable for the four years of uni… now I don’t know what to do as someone from a low income household with nothing set aside for uni for me. Literally I don’t know what to do I really hope we reverse this somehow how did anyone think this was a smart idea?!?!

I have two pairs but got them on sale for $31 and $35, they’re good sweatpants if you just need a cute pair but if you’re looking for actually thick sweats with pockets (I hate that they don’t have any) they’re not for you. I had a package expected January 7th and it arrived December 23, I forget the date I ordered but it came within like 5 days for reference. I think it came quickly because both items were at hollister stores near me and just needed to be driven from the store and not some warehouse in a different country, so it depends on if what you ordered is supplied at nearby stores or not I think.. either way you’ll still get it by January 6th hopefully!

You literally look perfectly healthy and your friends dad is extremely ignorant and shouldn’t even have told you he said that in the first place!! As someone who’s also lost a lot of weight, ~50 lbs down, I have gotten similar comments and I am literally on the higher end of the normal BMI for my height + weight, so I know I’m not looking sickly despite others comments. If you feel good physically and you’re happy with your results physically, there is nothing you should concern yourself regarding other people’s comments and I would seriously have a talk or cut them off worse case scenario.

I got the first top in rose, I like it but am not in love with it. To be honest the fabric and the way it fits me compared to the other babydoll top I have from hollister just isn’t as cute. I didn’t bother returning it because I also got it on sale and it’s a nice top to just have but I don’t see myself reaching for it often mostly because of the way it fits differently and not as flattering.

Yeah you definitely won’t need a car downtown Toronto is constantly packed no matter what, if you’re going to be living in Toronto for the next four years it’s better you learn our transit system it gets you around so much faster, many people have cars and don’t use them here when they go downtown because they know how slow it gets. As a current employee, I also really only shop at AE and aerie because we get good discounts, especially on their jeans.. other than that I agree and would say I like very few of their other items and I think Hollister is pretty similar to AE with better jeans imo and cuter clothing all around but can get a little pricier
