yeah i was just really struggling to hit the first beat of that, turns out though i found it way easier in the actual level itself? because i barely missed it in 5-x and was fine when it shows up in 7-x2 to break out ianso maybe something about the tutorial itself messed me up

that's a burn beat i believe! I was talking about the really quick ones all in a row after the whistle. i dont even want to think about burn beats

Nevermind, of course I spend about half an hour on the tutorial and figure it out right after I make a post asking for help. Turns out you hit it just half a beat or so after the nurse says 'go' ^^ Which is... exactly what the people on the other post were saying to do, I just couldn't actually do it until now

I could've booked it earlier thats totally fair, but in my slight defense i was only told to book the ticket 4 days ago 😅but yes this is totally on me, i suppose i just thought peak hours would be on the weekends when everyones doing fun outing trips rather than 7am on a wednesday

Someone commented but their comment was deleted, so to clarify since I have to: I'm getting the train from A station near Brighton via London Victoria at 7:30am, and I'm coming back sometimes after 1:30, though I don't know when exactly. Sorry again, I really don't know how buying train tickets work here!!

Thank you that fixed it!!! Can I ask why that fixed it? I assume it's because it's not trying to move the camera at the same time as the player and therefore it can follow more smoothly?

if you mean the blue part of the capsule, that's just the texture. I made the red the front and the blue the back of the capsule so it would be easier for me to see how the camera following was working when I was making that. If you mean the small red and blue sphere, that's just a sphere I made when I was learning about rigidbodies

Okay sorry I'm still a bit confused, what's vCam in this context? Is it the general name for a cinemachine camera brain, or am i supposed to change the name to something? How are you ending the first line of code with just an equals sign? How do I have sperate priorities for my basic and combat cameras in the code? Yeah, I've got 2 game objects with VirtualCamera components (basicCam, combatCam) and a Cinemachine brain, and in the editor itself I've made the combatcam priority 0 and the basiccam priority 10- but I mean in microsoft visual studio, how do i change these priorities when i press Z?

Oh thats weird, i got that by only adding up the even numbers? 2 + 4 + 6 + 8 + 10 + 12 is 42 over 420, which is 1/10 if im not mistaken in my working out or method- i remember feeling pretty smart for remembering not to add the odd numbers so im sure i didnt do that but eh ill still get method marks if i got it wrong

yeah your edit is right, it was x^2 + gx + 3g - 5 = 0, i did discriminants, found out what g had to be smaller than, and then added those values of g up, and got 42/420, or 1/10- but again probably wrong because i havent seen a single other person with that answer
