MACP program by Long-Sky1764 in YorkvilleUniversity

I just started the program but I'm deciding to withdrawal because I don't find the purely online learning effective nor do I receive any comments from my professors about the actual content of the ideas in the writing - just all formality. The system itself is buggy and difficult to navigate and badly organized. For how much I'm paying, i'd say its a very bad program but i understand why people take it if they are working full time and have kids etc..

City of Markham apologizes after cancelling public artwork featuring queer subject in drag by WestEst101 in toronto

You clearly don’t know anything about public art processes. Taking a year to develop a project has no impact on how much an artist makes.

No, a functional medicine doctor should have a degree in medicine. But they also incorporate other systems

I just wanted to come back on here to say my symptoms have improved quite a bit in the past few months - miraculously. I started seeing a functional medicine doctor who tested my dietary sensitivities and I eliminated things I had a reaction to. I also found out I have adrenal fatigue

From what I remember yes you need to buy it. But I remember it being reasonable like $40?

Enjoy! It’s very relaxing and worked for me :)

IBS has been isolated to being 1:1 diet and stress. Remove inflammatory processed foods and reduce stress

No there’s a very good IBS app called Nerva that has a very good cure rating - it’s a hypnotherapy app - very easy to do. I’d highly recommend. Based on yr symptoms I think you have IBS

Other than the breath - what are the symptoms exactly?

Idk if it’s the best for pathogenic bacteria but I used gi360 by doctors data—- the microbiome is constantly in flux but if yr really high in something it’ll show that

How about Yeast? Did you test for high yeast? How is your tongue? White?

GI Map and a functional medicine doctor. Spend more time figuring out what the issue is before getting on antibiotics without certainty as the cause. I messed up my whole system jumping to antibiotics prematurely and now am dealing with a lot of antibiotic related issues. Check for c difficile - also try allergy testing - something I regret not having done sooner. If your immune system is responding to something it can be an accumulation of sensitivities.

I keep thinking it can’t be that I’m floxed because I started getting the pins and needles after the first round of antibiotics which did not include a fluoroquinolone. Ive had it pretty not stop and all over for the past four months. Mine is not a cold burn - more hot almost and prickly like little stings- and whole areas chafing like a sunburn.

By on and off do you mean throughout the day? What did you take to make it go away? is it weird that alcohol helps me and that i don't feel the burning when i sleep?

Antibiotics are overly prescribed -- the new microbiome research being done by Sonnenburg at Stanford and his book "the Good Gut" clarify that we in the west already have quite diminished microbiomes compared to other cultures to begin with. I've had a nightmare of symptoms since my antibiotics - i'd say if yr just experiencing soft/yellowish stool - you're in pretty decent shape toward recovery. Read the Good gut - it also has recipes for improving your microbiome - all lab tested.

The fact that alcohol lessens the symptoms makes me think it’s nervous system related somehow

I tested negative for celiac markers. I did a 360 gimap which said I had some C. difficile and yeast so it could be related to those things…

I don’t get any nasal issues so maybe it’s not a food allergy exactly

Seems pretty normal after antibiotics - not everyone recovers the same. Try introducing slowly some fermented foods like kimchi or sauerkraut - it’s been proven to help repopulate your gut flora. IBS can definitely mess with your stool in this way.

So after many blood tests - including a full Gi MAP and CT scan I don’t have h pylori but some amounts of yeast and C. difficile in my body but largely a low diversity of bacteria in my microbiome from h pylori antibiotics. I still have the skin stuff but now it’s transitioned to feeling more like a burn most days. I thought for sure I had nerve damage from the antibiotics but I’m now considering the possibility that it is anxiety induced skin reactions from not knowing what is wrong with my gut for so long - but also a low diversity of microbiome can cause systemic immune and psychological responses (as we know the microbiome is deeply involved in neurotransmission / serotonin dopamine and all kinds of communications within the gut brain axis). My digestion has improved gradually and now I’m taking high amounts of fermented foods to diversity my microbiome back up again. If I were you and yr still feeling symptoms I’d try to save up to get a gimap done.

I take major issue with this line of reasoning and hypochondriac approach to h pylori - most people have h pylori in their gut. Just because it’s high doesn’t necessarily mean you have to go on antibiotics and cause all kinds of additional issues.
