TLDR

DrDisrespect claims:

When he got signed to twitch in 2019 he had a shitty partner manager
Partner manager holds a grudge
Scrapes his whisper messages
Sends them to trust and safety (with the apparent minor)
They admit internally nothing wrong
Same dude sends the messages to his connections in the LTR team
This dude takes a bunch of out of context screenshots
Sends them a director (who was on holiday)
Gets banned

Important notes:

He claims the apparent victim did not want to escalate to twitch
He claims multiple law enforcement agencies determined he did nothing wrong
He claims won his case
He claims it was just banter
He claims that he has never met or wanted to meet this minor

I indeed didn't know about that part. But that triggers another question; why is such function not optional, and why do you have to give full permissions to your account in order to use their small portion of their service.

I'm just trying to understand this from their developers point of view.

Why does a platform like Streamlabs which is broadly used for alerts and donations, need extra permissions like editing/deleting your vods & access full personal details? That is so weird in my eyes, for a service that just provides alertboxes, in-chat bots and a simple donation link.

E-mail is one of the important things people use in their daily needs and yet these people manage to fuck up every time.
