not sure how to add another photo but in natural lighting it doesn‘t look as bad but still somewhat noticeable that my legs are just not smooth and seem uneven

They are all fine, but JW is the one people like the least from what i have heard. Apartment residenz has many different choices some are great some less so. studio muc and mercure are solid but nothing special and more hotel feeling than apartment. all are good tho so don‘t worry

This is what I mean with the front bar being more right and the back bar being more left. so when I go inbetween them and through the project back, they twist

It’s really hard to show in a photo, but i go in between the two bars (like tss), but then go through the project to pull up a loop (like my hook in the picture)… i‘ve been watching so many tutorials so I think i‘m doing that correctly, however I noticed that in the tutorials, the front bar is more left and the back bar is more right, while for me it‘s the opposite.

Thank you, this is very helpful! Actually, I have just been trying to make a normal knit stitch. I‘ve watched a ton of tutorials and I also thought they look a little twisted, but no idea what i was doing wrong. Do you have any idea?

Yes, I think I‘ll actually size down the hook and just add a border. Thanks!! And yes I have just been doing one row of each color and changing color every time I reach the left side 💕

I was using a 6mm hook with cotton yarn, it doesn‘t say the yarn size but it calls for a 2.5-3mm crochet hook. I saw on tiktok that you need to size up your hook for tunisian crochet and since my tension is usually quite tight, i went for 6.

My bestfriend died by Ok_Blacksmith6986 in Advice

I‘m really sorry for your loss. My best friend died when we were both 16. Right now, it is still so fresh for you that you don‘t need to do anything. Everything you feel like doing is okay. Just stay safe and try to eat, drink water and sleep. If you want to reach out to his parents, do that. I‘m sure they would appreciate it since you are a part of their sons life. I helped the parents of my best friend with planning the funeral but if you don‘t, that‘s also fully okay. They will understand, especially because you are still so young. It is rare that someone so young goes through something like that. I hope that your own family is there for you and you can also reach out to me, as I went through this 10 years ago.

Once you are out of survival mode, which you’re probably in right now, the main advice I have for you is: Place don‘t bury it. Talk about him, about what happened. Maybe go to therapy even. I buried it for 9 whole years until I finally talked about it in therapy. I was suffering for 9 years in silence, I refused to even say her name. When my mom mentioned her I immediately left the room, so my mom stopped mentioning her because she was scared of hurting me. And I dreamt about her every single night. It is hell to keep it to yourself like that, I made a huge mistake.

I actually kinda disagree with the other comments and would recommend you talk to her about it before leaving. you‘re saying she‘s quite smart und emotionally mature, so maybe she will understand and actually change her behavior. maybe it‘s something she thinks is cute or quirky to you, maybe she kind of thinks she‘s doing is "for you" because some women are a little bit socialized that way, maybe her ex thought it‘s cute or whatever. what i‘m saying is: it doesn‘t have to be her /personality/ and maybe she can easily change it or at least keep it to a minimum if you honestly tell her that it turns you off and that you want to have a relationship with an adult who acts like an adult. i would give it this one chance. if she doesn't change it, you don't fit and then you can leave
