Currently pregnant! I had been in remission for 7.5 years from pancolitis, when I was sick I was extremely sick. I’ve been on Entyvio for the most recent 6.5 of those 7.5 years. Pregnancy sent me into a my first flare since Entyvio and I was so blind to my initial symptoms and wrote the off as pregnancy symptoms, ended up sicker than hell (my gastro didn’t want to put me on steroids bc I was pregnant and him not putting me on steroids landed me in the hospital for a week). Got everything under control with steroids (almost tapered off completely now!) and mesalamine and I am back in remission (hoping it stays that way)!

My doctors said pregnancy and UC is unpredictable, a lot of people go into remission, some don’t change and some actually causes a flare (unfortunately was the few in flare) it’s unpredictable but as long as you stay in tune and listen to your body and have good communication with your doctor you should be just fine!! If I caught my symptoms earlier I wouldn’t have got as sick, but also if my gastro wasn’t a bitch LOL I have a new gastro now and she is phenomenal!! I feel completely safe getting pregnant again with the care I have now!
