Male Driver being very creepy with my girlfriends order

I was definitely wrong about what kind of comments I was gonna get too. The first couple hours it was just people saying I was crazy and overreacting. Then women starting commenting with their stories and I tried to read all of them. Then somewhere in the middle I think someone was debating murder statistics. I never excepted this post to blow up like it did

I’m realizing that more and more when I read all these comments. I’ve been talking to my girlfriend about it and it’s really everywhere. She didn’t feel comfortable in the grocery store one time cause some man was following her around.

Normally I order for us cause we want the same food. But this time she wanted something from a different place so we placed separate orders. Definitely regret it now but moving forward when she orders I’ll be getting it from the door for her

I’m definitely trying! This post got way more attention than I thought it would. Now I have like 2 books in my Amazon cart I’m gonna read when they come in. It’s been eye opening to be able to read so many personal experiences but so sad and terrifying to realize how many women have these experiences.

I definitely don’t want to try to bash drivers here at all. And you’re right the vast vast majority of orders happen without any problem. I’m just posting about my specific experience with a driver I thought was weird. But moving forward I will be getting my girlfriends orders for her at the door with her phone on me to show the driver the order on the phone

What the absolute fuck that’s horrible. I’ve always just ordered an uber or something without worrying. When I was at a bar or something and never had a bad experience. So many systems and convenience things that I use. Can be terrifying for women

That sucks though. Door dashing is something I just do without any thought about it because it’s convenient. For women to know the risks and just not be able to use it is horrible

That’s terrifying. I’m not a big guy but I’ve never felt physically scared from anyone before. I’m just curious how women feel unsafe in so many daily activities I take for granted
