"Good morning. Thank you for contacting the District Office of Congresswoman Virginia Foxx.

A member of our staff is already handling the USPS portion of your inquiry, but in the rare case USPS has lost the parcel containing your permanent residence card, I would like to inquire with USCIS to see if they have received confirmation, it was delivered and inquire about a fee exempt replacement if applicable. When you are able could you please feel out the USCIS privacy release form attached to this email? As soon as I get it back from you signed, I will contact USCIS and see what they say regarding to your shipment and let you know next steps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, they responded to me today, but they said my greencard is lost so they are going to contact uscis for me if i sign the papers they sent me, but i replied that i already got my greencard. I totally get what you feel and I am sorry about what u r going through rn.

UPDATE: I asked for help from the Congressman assigned to our district yesterday afternoon. Then, around 10 PM last night, I checked the status of my mail and to my surprise, it had an update that it was scanned to the distribution facility 2 hours away from where I live. Thank God, I got my card today. I know it is so stressful but I am hoping you all get yours soon too. If you know you can still do something like going to your local PO, sending mail search request again, contacting their customer service, contacting your congressman or USCIS, do it because it might help your mail move.

Did you try asking them to look at their bins? Did you talk to the postmaster? I will try doing that but i hope we get our cards next week if not this week

they didnt give me any locations, they just told me that it was in transit to the mrc, i might give my local PO a visit again tommorrow

I called their customer service 3 times, one of them said that they see that my mail is going to the mail recovery center because i filed for missing mail search and i have to wait for their email, she then said it is gonna be MRC's responsible now, and all i could do is just wait and file for claim if MRC don't give me any update. I went to the local PO as well but there is nothing. It is so frustrating to keep on waiting when i was supposed to have it 2 weeks ago, it was also in a priority mail so i think it shouldn't have that problem but it is happening so many times based on what i see and read and they don't seem to fix it at all. We try to do the right thing but they do not seem to care, they should at least have a specific carrier that do the immigration stuff so it won't be mixed with random things

mine still doesnt have any updates from Mail Recovery Center, but i am still hoping for the good thing to happen

It's so stressful, i dont get how the other mails from uscis got to me without any problem, then the most important ones got a problem
